Most metas I played had some cheap aggro decks in them. I was able to hit top 500 legend in many metas with a deck that costed under 3k dust. Most of the time the cheapest deck is not the best but it is good enough to reach legend. The game becomes p2w when you want to play multiple different decks and not learn one in depth. Many players think that the deck they play is not good enough then switch to a different one. When they burn trough their dust and cant switch anymore they blame p2w that they cant reach a certain rank. If you want to reach legend, you have to get good. If you want to play multiple cool controll decks, you have to pay $. This has always been the case.

Really dont think you have it "figured out" I will grant you it being a 6 set meta does make it the most expensive meta but not exactly pay to win. Especially with treeant druid in standard. Hell shadow priest isnt a even bad in standard either.
Respectfully my good sir and as a f2p player myself I'm going to wholeheartedly disagree. Tempo decks absolutely exist as rogue is at the top of the meta (whether you enjoy mining rogue's rng aspect or not) with plague death knight hovering around high tier 2. You also can't deflect from the fact that treant druid is one of the cheapest tier 1 decks in the game's history by saying it's an outlier. Sure there are probably more control decks than both tempo and aggro decks however, it's mainly because of the highlander classes and reno, which many people are fine with as highlander has always been extremely popular. Imo, the meta's pretty decent overall. I would also like to get to your belief that control is meta because they just want to make money. This simply isn't true, in fact, this is probably the most f2p hearthstone has ever been with catch-up packs and better progression for new players. It seems they're actually focusing on making the game more approachable so people can spend money if they want to.
And? Like that wasn't a good rebuttal at all. The weapon variant isn't even 7000 dust and all these other factors I listed weren't at all addressed. I think you should try to get more varied opinions from the f2p community (even if you are f2p) because I really think the game is actually pretty f2p friendly. They give free stuff every month depending on your rank, give free stuff for random events, free cards from the core set, give free twitch drops, give free legendaries at the start of each expansion, have implemented catch-up packs, and provide you with free stuff when you just start out. All that is pretty easily backed up by a set of streams by Zeddy where he hit legend as a f2p in like a week (It took me a few years but whatever). All that's to say to just look at this with a little more nuance.
I like how instead of actually arguing you literally make a sentence-long petulant comment. And you wonder why your videos are hated and seen as rage bait.
Buddy, I wish it was like that. (I love control) But Hearthstone killed control by printing too many great aggro cards and very few (if any) good control cards, for years. And there is a clear goal in that strategy, most people didn't like the Kobolds and Catacombs meta and it's several control decks with 30-40 minute games on the regular. And only now that the power creep got to the point of being near Yu-Gi-Oh turn 4 OTK madness, they are pumping the breaks and printing good control cards and payoffs.
i don't see why you think youtubers should get to play hearthstone for free, if you want to play for free and because hearthstone isn't really a community game to begin with why not play just against AI on HeartSim since it isn't a real game like mtg

@@ignorito im sorry that is the only conclusion i could come to with your video, meta issue isn't the issue, its the release cycle of cards and acquisition methods of cards. Man complaining about the lack of aggro. brada i dont know what game u are playing i just hit legend in wild and 70-80%of my games are against braindead aggrodecks like totem shaman, shadow priest, pirate rogue and treant druid. Its absolute dogshit. I would always much prefer a meta where you have options to not die from a deck that just vomits it hands out in 2 turns and goes face. The new Reno herocard destroyed me couple of times, I crafted it and now its on of the most satisfying feelings to just destroy these noskill pure trash decks:d but yeah u have to get to ur boardclears. Just because two aggro decks exist - and because they counter Control decks doesn't mean that I haven't played 50% control warriors lately
