The front end looks GREAT Rick and breaking up the chrome with the black gives it a classics look. Hope you have a great holiday on the long weekend and please remember to stay safe. GOD BLESS Rick
Nice project, I like the black and chrome combination, I would do it the same way. It reminds me my dad's chrome business here in Uruguay, the good old days. Regards.
Good thing you don't have a streaming camera set up at the shop I wouldn't get anything done. Loving the 31 progress she's going to be a sharp little cruiser!
I agree with the contrast. Looks better in some chrome and some black. I see cars with everything chromed and it's just too much and you can't see anything well. These cars are gonna look killer when they're done.
@@OldTimeGarage Hello Rick I wish I had an old Pontiac . I love the old stuff . But I have an 82 GT fox body Mustang .I have had it for many many years . I realy love the cars from the 60s back to the 30 s Cheers my friend .
Hey Rick, The black and chrome look good together. I never put one of those style front ends together but good to know the tip about the keyway to keep the pieces from turning. It will be a roller soon! Thanks for the video! -mike
Looking good,be great to see it all together with tires and wheels but takes time go have a great time . come back smiling and sparkle in your I and hit the ground running !
Hey Rick, I agree on the black backing plates and spring, I am trying to visualize how the upper control arm attaches to the frame I guess I will find out on the next one, good video buddy
I noticed you had not trial fitted a tie rod across the spindles. Noted no dropped spindles before being chromed. Will/how will the tie rod fit without dropping the spindles?
I also really like the mix of black and chrome on the front end. Much better than all chrome or black. But it is looking like a show car. How are you going to drive it? :)
@@OldTimeGarage should they be facing downward in an angle or should they be facing upward in an angle I see them both ways on different cars and I don't understand why or even if it makes a difference thank you
