Hi, really helpful video, I'm thinking about spots or a light bar on the front but could you explain how lamps wired into switches 5 and 6 work with the matrix head lights fitted? Would they turn off automatically when a car is detected coming the other way? Would be great to know. Thanks 👍
those switches are avail on ranger versions as Premium pack, its about 1800 bucks, but gives you the pre wired switches, matrix headlights upgraded sound system - i ordered my wildtrak with the PP. just waiting for suspention to be delivedrd to townsville to upgrade gvm gcm pre rego. ty for your video make it easy hey
Handy video, thanks. I was hoping they left one of the auxiliary wires inside the cabin for the uhf, but will just have it to run it back in with the aerial cable.
ARB/Ford air compressor can be optioned and is mounted inside the mudguard behind the tail lamp assembly. You will need to shield those tub lights from damage from loads in the tub.
@@Eddie_TurboThe compressor draws less than 25amps under load. It's Next Gen Ranger specific dual on board model made for Ford as a manufacturer accessory.
My Wildtrak was a dealer stock order and they did not specify the Power Pack, so no switches. Is the wiring there though and whether it is or not, is there a kit to fit them retrospectively? Also all UK Wildtrak come with plastic bed liner, as did my 2014 Limited. However the utility tie-down rail with heavy duty adjustable anchors is not fitted to the new Wildtrak. Is it possible to get these as a kit and how do you line up the attachment bolts with the plastic liner hiding the captive nuts? Pretty sure that the rails on the old Limited are attached using rivnuts or similar, because one rail is not level.
Hi, I need help. I'm staying in South Africa and my aux 5 and aux 6 can switch on no matter if the high bean is on or off. How do I sort this problem. Thank you.
How do you bypass the "key on function" for these switches. Want accessories to work when the car is switched off. Stock they only work when ignition on

Awesome vid straight to the point.just a note the arb or most other compressors will pull over the rated 15amp supply to the back tailgate wiring.
switch wire only serves to on/off the ARB comp. You still have to run heavy 30 amp feed wire back to the battery to supply current to run the comp.

Mate, how did you end up connecting your UHF? Is it constant power or accessories?
great info,, thanks!

How does that work? I thought the twin compressor required with 2 x 40amp fuses? This only outputs max 25amp?

Nate great video. I have a Next Gen Raptor. Does Lovells have a GVM upgrade for this Raptor?
How do you wire these....do they have to be attached to the battery...or they can be powered directly from the wiring at the back from aux 3 and 4

It is good but not for camping, the light only work when the car is on or accessories are on so battery will go flat quickly
Are the wires there from factory if the switches are not installed?
Hi mate, may I please know where did you get these new vinyl decals?
They come optional with the vehicle from Factory
Being a pick up those amber lights in that location
would last about 2 minutes as I tend to carry stuff in the back of my tub!

Warranty issue take it back to the dealership
have you solved it? I am having the same issue

Or how do you turn off the headlights while using camp lights.
I haven't tried it in my Ranger yet, but apparently if you hit the on button WITHOUT depressing the brake, it turns on in accessory mode.
@@Alachas1985 that’s what. I do, but. The Daytime Running Lights stay on which worries me about. Flattening the battery
@@damonrobertson3486 Can't you just turn off the daytime running lights with the dial near the steering wheel?
@@Alachas1985 no they stay on regardless, so i worry those will flatten battery. also annoy other campers.
