Awesome video - I just think I prefer the digital tools for the micrometer and bore gauge over the old analogue stuff. Time saving and much more accurate but of course more expensive. I just watched your first video and noticed you have a “dial gauge” … question… can that be used to measure the diameter of the clearance between the crank bearings instead?
I totally agree bud yes. If I did this kind of thing more regularly I would have digital ones and I plan to get them in the future. Absolutely you can use an internal dial guage. I just found it awkward with slotted bearings. That would usually be my preferred method to be honest. Digital ones would be even nicer like you say 👌
