Было очень слышно, как та пианистка играла иначе, но как только Эми сама села за рояль, началось НЕЧТО. Я это к чему: от Вас такая же бешеная энергия идет, как от самой Эми. Прямо видно, как вы через свои пальцы вливаете в инструмент жизнь и силу. Я в восторге!))

Even in a somber piece like this, there is ornamentation in your arrangement that renders the other piano covers boring. Your superpower is intensifying the emotional impact of songs - made me wipe my eyes. Although appropriate, it was strange not to see your sweet smile even once.

It's a mistake. I'll fix it now.
I really like the way you show the love to some very old pianos. The one in this video is really rough inside. It's like: "Boss: hey Boris, what are we casting today? Boris: T-72 tank turrets. Boss: and after that? Boris: P-88 grand piano plates. Boss: O.K. let's get to it then." Have to say it sounds great though, despite its appearance. I'm sure it was nicely finished too, in it's heyday.

I've always liked this song and for those of us who feel an affinity with a popular song it makes it really difficult for it to be reinterpreted and maintain our love for it. Gamazda however, seems to have mastered the reinterpretation of an old love bringing new life to it. I especially like how she uses pianos that look battered and broken but makes them sing like the day they were made. Who doesn't feel a little battered and broken during our journey sometimes? So how beautiful to put in the time, energy and love it must require to make an old piano sing like she does.
