There’s hunters and then there are people who just like to shoot things these people are no hunters and not worthy of the respect you’d show an actual hunter
There's a video of someone building a playing card castle and firing a bullet through the center of it and the cards never even blew away. So yeah, he's wrong lol
Hunting should be done with respect for the creature, it is all about getting it down as fast as possible with as low destruction as possible because usually the meat is for eating. To my opinion hunting is absolutely no place for people who just want to try out what a blood-spray or any other visual damage a gun / a caliber produces. That childish laughing shows me everything I need to know about those "hunters". Sorry, but thats no good advertising for the passion of respectful hunters.
The hit on the doe was through the eye sockets. It is a myth that the concussive force of a round which hasn't impacted anything yet would kill you. The reason there was not more damage is because the bullet met very little resistance so it did not dump much of its energy in the deer's head. If it had slowed down by hitting the deer's skull more solidly, that would be an obliterated head. Edit: To my point, later in the video, you see that when it hits a whitetail in the lungs/heart rather than the neck and eye socket like the previous deer shots it does MASSIVE damage. That is because it hit solid bones (ribs) and plenty of meat and organs to slow it down. When it gets slowed down that is because it is dumping energy. That energy transfer translates to damage to the tissues and internal structures of the deer. Faster bullets not getting slowed down have all the same energy but they are using it to fly further.
This video shows that it's not the size of the gun that kills but the shot placement. All of those animals would have died just as quickly with any standard hunting calibers.
Lifelong hunter and Texan. I see no point in shooting Zebras, Elephants, Giraffes. I think it is a pssy move for people drunk on killin. Unneeded greed.
Would you stop spreading the lie that you missed that deer but the 50bmg still killed it? The bullet entered 1 eye socket and exited the other. Explain the physics that bullets can kill without hitting their targets, and then explain how people can shoot 50bmg through a house of cards without knocking it down. Do you not see the hair and tissue flying behind the deer? That hair and tissue wouldn't be flying out of the "vacuum" that you are claiming killed the animal.
What I like most about these videos, is the fact that there is a Sight Mark scope on his rifle. Goes to show you, you don't need a $10k scope to make a good ethical shot.
Das hämische Lachen über den brutalen Kill der wehrlosen Tiere sagt einiges über die vermeintlichen Jäger aus! Respektloser kann man dich nicht verhalten! Grüße von einem Fleischesser
Why does he keep repeating this myth. He can just go out and prove it himself. Demo ranch shot a 50 bmg through a deck of cards with no movement in the cards
@cc27006 😆 that's the exact part of demo ranch's test I had in mind. I guess people just like to think the .50 bmg is THAT powerful. Which you saw in the video what it can do when it actually hits things
Doe was shot through the eyes it is bs to say that the vacuum sucked her eyes out, video on Demolition ranch shows very clear that the 50BMG has no effect even when shooting through stacked cards.
I see a lot of misconceptions here in the comments here. A lot of the hunts shown here are for conservation efforts, they are to cull the population on wildlife reservations or to down a problematic overly aggressive alpha animal. People can say what they want about their reactions, but i could guarantee most here have never even shot a .50BMG rifle, let alone hunt with one. It's simply something new to experience and has a vastly different result compared to smaller calibers. Also, to all the people saying "its too much gun," due to the fact that the bullets used aren't for hunting, the actual energy transfer is comparable to standard hunting calibers. You get the same result, the animal died and, in some cases, was instant without suffering. That's humane.
@@Pesso317 not really but even then how does that make it unethical? When you hunt the point is to end the animals life right? How is it better to hit it with a smaller caliber and have it spend the next 5-10 minutes bleeding out vs ending it quicker?
Why won’t Kieth just accept that the bullet went thru the eyes? At least a dozen Guntubers have disproved the myth that a .50 BMG can suck the eyes out of a deer with a near miss. He just looks like an idiot every time he shows this video.

That 750 Amax is a tough bullet. Ive seen more damage done with Berger bullets out of a 338. Not a whole lot of energy dump even with a large exit hole. Most animals including elk fold and land on their chin not run off 200 yards.

I am not a hunter but im very interested for some years now.. im from germany and I want to know: is zebra hunting a thing? Can you eat them?? Are They overpopulated or is it a not very common animal to Hunt ? 😅
@eilowhassel6677 In Africa, zebras are eaten. Hunting licenses pay for most of the anti poaching, and other conservation efforts, and the meat is used to feed people.
I'm from Maine. Up here we actually hunt for deer. We go out into the woods and we searched for them. The idea of sitting in a blind that was built with dimensional lumber and windows from the hardware store and waiting for deer to come into a feeding station is absolutely not hunting in my neck of the woods. I own a 50 BMG but would not consider hunting with it because it's simply too destructive on an animal the size of a deer. You're just wasting meat.
