Not sure OP will respond.. but when he was nailing at the angle, the angle didnt look at all like it would go into the wall. Mostly in thru the baseboard but it looked like it could reach the floor with 2" 18ga nails. I assumed I should go in at a less angle that ensures it will pass thru baseboard and in to wall a little bit. Figure 3/4" give or take on the roundover, and 1/2" on baseboard, should put about 1/2" to 3/4" in to wall, and that is usually 1/2" thick too. So there wouldn't be much in to wood if it were to land at the 2x4 base inside the wall. Right?

I saw not to nail closer than 4" from the outside ends...but I think you did that in the video?

Some good tips in this video but you didn’t tell us how to measure the proper angle after determining it was not 45° (for an outside corner).

Yeah, I was also hoping they'd chat about that.

Just get two scrap pieces and cut different angles until you find the perfect fit.

Good video. But suck overkill for installing 1/4 especially with taping it before you cut it

Would a 1 1/4" Brad nail work for 11/16" qr?
