These people give their WHOLE LIFE to this company to be discarded months after receiving a raise. Who is so ignorant to think you’re going to make the same money in a logistics company during a pandemic when the pandemic is no longer there??? She says automation would give employees in the hub to do other things, right? What would that be? Hub work is the gate way to seniority which leads to package car, Feeder and Sleeper opportunities that are none existent. There are hundreds of feeder and package drivers, full time and part time that are on layoff to the hub. Where do they go? You wait years to accrue enough seniority to bid on routes that no longer exist. Working 3 1/2 “guaranteed” hours as a part timer waiting to work in the higher paying departments. 😑
