Check out my other Pentatonix reactions in this playlist! ruclips.net/p/PL-tAjLxAAkA9QsmC8pTH2x4La4cIws5Us ========== The copyright on some Pentatonix videos is getting tough Sorry for the heavy filter - this is the 5th attempt which finally wasn't blocked globally!
Really appreciate the effort in getting it posted.. we are very accustomed to the heavy filtered typically required to get their music videos up, their label is tough! Most of us have likely seen all their videos many times, but for anyone new to PTX, after you’ve done your terrific reaction/ analysis, they can pop over to the PTX page if they want. So no worries about filtering, filtering happens
Filtering is expected, really. You may find it nearly impossible to post a reaction immediately after they release new videos - when that time comes. They (YT) often allow it for a few days or so, and then will slam the door. Know please, that it is Sony and YT who are behind the copyright problem. Pentatonix as a group LOVE reactors - afte-rall, they got their start on You Tube after the Record label dropped them immediately after winning a contract on the Sing Off! There are vids out on YT of them reacting to reactors and one of them surprising reactors in person! They are fantastic to watch - but you'll want to avoid them until after you react to their Top Pop Vol 1 album 2018 or you will get little spoilers of those songs. As a group they are very humble and down to earth, and just really love their fans. It's just something that sets them apart from other groups and makes us love them even more. - All that said, we fans are well aware of the pains that can go into getting a reaction pass the copyright police on YT and we are very grateful for your work in getting it done. Thank you so much for making that effort. I look forward to the next reaction! 💛
Looked forward to your PTX reaction all week. I can count on it not being a generic reaction. There are plenty of those. I appreciate that you give us the how? what? when? and where? in your breakdown of the videos. I've noticed that I look for more details in their videos now and even find new elements in videos I've seen previously. To add, your reactions are entertaining. Pentaholics understand about filters. No apologies needed. Thank you again. ("Kevin, calm yourself boy") 😅 Edit: forgot the why? That's important too! 👏
"Kevin, calm yourself boy." I laughed out loud at that. He can really blow your mind sometimes. LOVED this reaction. You seemed to be having a great time with it, even chair dancing! Really great. Thanks again for the breakdown too, helping me to understand what they were trying to accomplish. All I knew is that I loved it! Now I know why. THANK YOU!!!
I love this vibe so much. Their energy and happiness when singing is infectious Not to mention, I just LOVE Mitch’s chest voice. He doesn’t sing in it enough
Yay, it's PTX day! This is one of my favorites because it's so darned fun! I love watching your facial reactions. Thank you for the sheet music; gosh it really opens up so much for me.
I always find myself smiling throughout this whole song. They’re good at creating a vibe, which brings to mind Havana, for when you’re ready to move forward. Loved your reaction and analysis, as always. Peace …
Love this one-nice to see you bopping along. One of my favorite cover arrangements is Say Something (A Great Big World x Christina Aguilera). I thought the OG was fine but wasn’t in love with it. Kirstie’s performance is heartbreaking and the bridge is stunning. Bonus: Kevin plays the cello.
I absolutely love when the trio all sing 3 completely different parts and lyrics at the same time. There’s a compilation video out there of all the songs they do it in and it really shows how well they can sing their own parts while two other parts are going on beside them. On their latest Christmas album, they did a mashup of Christmastime is here and pure imagination but when they performed it live they added a third song, Little Toy Trains. So at the end of the mashup. Scott, Mitch and Kirstie were singing 3 differently songs at the same time and it worked.
It seriously makes me so happy when I see you have posted a PTX video. I would really love to hear you react to some more original stuff- the popspring concert, love again, and sing - it is all very different from run to you
Your reaction to this song remaindet me, on an interwiew, game, 100 songs in 10 minutes. If you want to see how fast they can harmonize, and how funny they are, watch that video.
Thank you for this. This song was never one of my favorites of theirs, and now that I've paid more attention to it thanks to your analysis, I have a new-found appreciation for it.
Watching you watch this, I see your brain working as you analyze every little thing about it and I start to wonder if you're even able to enjoy it. But then I see the huge smile on your face and I know you are enjoying it 😊 👍. Thanks for that reactions
Yay PTX! They really make me happy. Fun, clever, energetic. You look at them perform and just want to join in the party. Sad songs have a huge impact but there is a lot to be said about a song that will just make you feel like dancing. Thank you again for your R&A. 🤗
I look forward to your Pentatonix reactions all week! I would absolutely love to see your reaction to their cover of Elton John’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight”!!!!
I just want to say that you are totally amazing with your ear, that you can hear each line that they are singing and can find the key. YOU are pretty amazing in what you do and I love to hear your analyses
This reminded me of another early one, Starships, that I think you'd enjoy. It does a wonderful job of telling a clever story that is anagalous to their own story of winning the record deal, ready to reach for the stars, and then having it all taken away. And, with the video again imitating life, they take the future into their own hands and make it happen. It's really fun. (And I read that Scott's dentist subsidized the video. That helps explain a couple quick takes you'll undoubtedly notice.)
Hermoso, divertido y armónico, gracias por traerlo a la memoria. Una sonrisa al alma y movimiento al cuerpo, música que hace mágia. Un abrazo de madre, como siempre.
👚🧤👕🧤👚🧤👕🧤👚🧤👕🧤👚 ... they got you smiling in this one Sir Hairless !! I think you are quite a cheerleader for Pentatonix. Really great choice to react to , such a fun song. My M.V.P. of this song was Mitch , but when Kevin brought the electronic sound at the end of the song .. I was saying " Wowwwww !! " Great breakdown Sir Hairless, you notice so many of the neat tricks that Pentatonix have mastered. Rock on Sir 🎸🎼🎸 🔉🎶🔉🎶🔉🎶🔉🎶🔉🎶🔉🎶
I appreciate these reactions. I cant read music sheets but, Sir, your dissection and analysis convince us more of the intricacies of a PTX arrangement. 👏
Always looking forward especially to your PTX music I’m hoping that their Popspring 2016 live event in Japan is soon on your list… it’s 4 songs, 3 of which are originals and 1 is Evolution of Michael Jackson.. slightly longer but a quality recording for MTV, I think.
Do you think it would be ok to do separate videos for each Popspring performance? I (ideally) want to keep my videos as short as possible, and 4 performances in one would be VERY long if I didn't compromise on information
@@SirHairless I’ve seen it split into 2 before, definitely, but for the amount of detail you bring to us, I can see it coming in 4 separate performances. Maybe try the first one and if it seems short go on and add the second song. Nothing’s set in stone. Btw, the order of songs in the performance is 2 original songs, then the Evolution of Michael Jackson , then a last original. We will be thrilled no matter your choice. Do it whatever way works best for you. Hardest part for us will be waiting for the next one, regardless
Again, another great reaction. I always appreciate the time you take to give us some insight as to why their songs work so well and glad you are enjoying them.
No worries on the editing of the video to get past the blocks - we've all seen the videos many times, and we understand that SME is VERY protective of their IP rights. We appreciate your perseverance in the face of formidable odds! Not a musical note, but an interesting visual note on this video: You can truly see how much shorter Kirstie is than the others in the group, since everyone is wearing sneakers to match the high-school outfits they're dressed in. On stage and in the vast majority of their music videos, Kirstie will be wearing high heels (sometimes VERY high!), and so she doesn't stand out as much on stage - although that's not why she wears them (which is what I originally thought), she just likes to wear heels. You won't usually see Kirstie wearing shoes with virtually no heels at all.
I love your reaction and teaching videos....I hear the songs that I have listened to countless times, so differently. Thank you for your expertise once again!
Their version of cheerleader is like auditory caffeine for me! I love it. Voiceplay came out with a Cheerleader cover right around the same time as PTX. I prefer the PTX version, but Voiceplay's is fun too.
Many years ago my father brought home a weird instrument he said was a “queeka” (a kid’s guess at spelling. It was a hollowed out gourd or maybe coconut with a hand-strung skin top and a bamboo stick attached somehow to the drum head. You played it with moistened fingers sliding up and down the stick, adjusting time by pressing on the skin. Kevin sounds just like it only professional.
There are three videos of PTX that you should check out... The first one is Hallelujah and the second one is The Sound of silence and the last one is Amazing Grace(My Chains are Gone). All three of these songs are musically different and show their genius in so many different ways. I just found this channel and I appreciate your breakdown of these songs. Keep up the great work!!! There are so many more songs that they've done that are amazing and are worth the listen but the three I've mentioned are among their BEST work.
I am so happy you are reacting to this one. It is one of my favorite upbeat songs by them. You might also like their song Sing. Really upbeat and there is a surprise in there. Thank you for a good analysis again
this song was not at all popular in my country, so pentatonix's verson was the first one i heard. loooove the arrangement, always makes me smile. great reaction!
Wow thank you so much for giving me my PTX fix of the day! I saw a program on this song and why they changed it up. It was a while ago. I only checked him out because I never heard of him until PTX did this cover. I like Reggae because it is joyous and happy . I can’t listen to it without moving some part of my body lol.🎉 ❤ R/A ! Chefs kiss to you .
@@SirHairless yes he recorded it twice - the same singer but he was called OMI so maybe I have no clue what I’m talking about. I did really see something about the song.
@@SirHairless Jamaican singer Omi. The track was written and produced by OMI and Clifton Dillon, Mark Bradford, and Ryan Dillon. OMI first began developing the song in 2008, when he created its melody. It was refined over several years alongside famed Jamaican producer Clifton Dillon. It was first recorded with veteran session musicians Sly and Robbie and Dean Fraser. Released as a single on independent label Oufah, the song saw success in Jamaica, where it topped the charts, and also attracted airplay in Hawaii and Dubai. Ultra contacted two disc jockeys to produce remixed versions of the original song. The label and song's producers preferred one remix, produced by a young German DJ, Felix Jaehn, that eschewed much of the song's original instrumentation for a tropical-flavored deep house rendition, prominently featuring a trumpet, a conga beat, and piano. A remix extended play was released in May 2015 by Ultra, which began to first see commercial success that fall.
One of the best parts of a cappella is that even the “instruments” are personal. In a band that uses drums, guitars, violins, harmonicas, percussion instruments, etc - you have a person playing them for the singer. You might have back up singers aiding the singer. These folks who play in the background may get introduced as the ones playing an instrument. If someone gets hurt or sick, call in someone else to play the instrument. Yes! Some are much better than others, but still . . . A Cappella groups are the instruments. They are each necessary and not so easily replaced. They are tuned into each other. They are all equally important to make the entirety of the music in the song, so they are all special. They play together and are equally necessary. I don’t think everyone could be successful in a cappella. The three groups I listen to most are unique in their abilities and success. They are a matched set even though uniquely different. Don’t get me wrong. I love instruments! What beauty can be performed with instruments! But harmony with voices and music coming from a beatboxers like the three I love so much - it just fills me with such pleasure and joy! I love each instrument in the groups! This probably won’t make sense to everyone, but I know there are others that know exactly what I mean. ❤️
I just LOVE watching your facial expressions when you make these videos. You are very expressive and music touches you in a very special way. In this video you looked like a little boy getting carried away in a Disney film. It's rare to see you enjoy yourself so much. I do wonder how you'd react to the "Moon River" by Jacob Collier. I'm not sure if you've reacted to him before? I have to go back into your channel now and see if you have. His composition of most songs are like a pre-raphaelite painting where there is so much movement and texture it borders on being "too much" but gives your "aesthetic buds" a tickle!!!! Your gifted ears for pitch and harmonies would have afield day with that song.
Thanks! Haha I think this is a different kind of enjoyment - a much more fun-looking one I know Jacob so reactions wouldn't really work....also, my brain would probably go into overdrive and explode
I have loved this performance since the very first time I heard it. Mostly for all of the things you pointed out. The counterpoint section, though brief, just blew me away. Also, to this day, after hearing the song dozens or hundreds of times, I still can't help but get up and dance or at least start swaying in my chair. What a great and fun song done perfectly by early PTX. I'm so glad you have stuck to the earlier pieces. Wait until you see the further growth and maturation as time passes, right up to the present which is probably their best work ever.
Their use of many different textures shows a critical aspect of PTX arrangements. The original song is a little repetitive, so one of their main tasks is to fix or minimize that problem. So they used a lot of differing textures to make the various repeated sections feel fresh. They generally do a great job of identifying a cover song's problems and then finding effective solutions.
Always enjoy your comments and the thought you put into them. I know you are doing the older songs but if you want to branch out you could try Mitch's cover of Your Power by Bille Eilish or Superfruit and friends cover of Rise by Katy Perry. Both are amazing.
Like others I also look forward to your PTX reactions all week because they are so informative and make me hear things I haven't before, despite having heard pretty much all their songs hundreds of times! I've really enjoyed all your reactions and have listened to them all multiple times but my favourite ones so far have been to Imagine, Carol of the Bells and Dance of the Sugarplum fairy - possibly because you liked those so much and got such a lot out of them which meant you gave us a very 'rich' reaction to them with really thorough breakdowns. I love it when they really surprise you 'Kevin - calm yourself Boy!' and 'I'm sorry but that's ridiculous!' and when you coin new phrases 'a merry Mitch slap!' I'm excited about all your upcoming reactions but particularly the ones I know you will have a lot to say about such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Aha Live in Singapore, any of the 'Evolution' videos, Love Again, The Prayer, Kiss from a Rose, Hallelujah, Sounds of Silence and Valentine (next week hopefully!) See you again soon!
Thank you! Imagine was certainly a powerful one, and then the arrangements of Carol Of The Bells and Sugarplum were just insane Haha Kevin just didn't care Only 10 months until we can start using 'merry Mitch slap' again 🎄
Wonderful reaction! Not a choice that I expected from you, somehow. "Joyous" is a good word for it. By the way, if you want the US English idiom, those "benches" in the "gymnasium" are "bleachers in the gym."
It’s such a happy toe tapping song and they are all having fun…..great arrangement…..now review a oldy but goodie. …valentine,……. Original here. ruclips.net/video/Cpmxy5mE6tY/видео.htmlsi=9Uoi79pPtQDAaz65
Concur 100% with recommendations for Havana but especially Say Something. Loved this reaction class :D that's what I call them, learn so much from your vids, thank you and when you do Hallelujah the live Xmas version is the one you want OR you can do a double reaction, maybe? the studio and live version comparison, just a thought :D
Skipping the ridiculously good quality of their singing, I love the details they put into their videos. In the middle of the song when Avi & Kevin sat in the chairs, their formation is a callback to their group layout they came up with in the early days and used in a tons of their older videos. (Avi/Kevin up front, closer to the mic(s) and the trio behind and slightly higher)
I have so much fun watching you reviewing. I focus on Pentatonix but I realized I should watch your other reviews as well. Well, maybe once you're caught up on Pentatonix, I'll expand a bit to the others. HALLELUJAH will blow your mind - guaranteed. I can hardly wait!
❤ Your reactions are technical, but in a way I can understand, and I love it! You might like Can’t Hold Us, Problem, New Rulesx Are You That Somebody, Say Something, Perfume Medley, Original songs: They are happy songs! Sing Love Again Thank You Happy Now ❤❤❤❤❤
As soon as I saw the notification bell, I just had to listen. Thank you. I really enjoy your reactions. So what O do after your reaction, I go back to the song and can pick up on what you analyzed for us. (Don't always get it right)😂 Greetings from South Africa
Great reaction. Thank you. Please add Pentatonix videos "Come Along", "Havana" and mashup "New Rules x Are You That Somebody?" to your to-do reactions list.
I'm pretty excited for you to get into PTX's current lineup. Avi is amazing and I loved him, but in a lot of ways, Matt Salee was a _significant_ upgrade. His voice blends quite a bit better with the rest of the group's, while Avi's buttery tones are a little mismatched. Also, Matt's agility is just insane, especially octave jumps that he's so good at I have trouble comprehending it. He thinks nothing of, for example, alternating sixteenth notes up and down an octave, even maintained throughout most of a song.
To say I wasn’t a fan of the OMI version is an understatement. I was sick of hearing it! 😒 But hearing this upgrade for the first time made me love it! Love your reactions, Sir. You are a musically genius! ❤️🇬🇧
I really always love your reactions, and the thoughtfulness that you point out about the chord structures. I do wonder what you meant when you said at 09:54 "I need to be careful not to get my expectations too high for Pentatonix..." ?
Thanks! Oh yes, sorry I probably didn't word this too well 😅 Let me try again: All I meant was that the higher the expectations are for a performer, the easier it is for those expectations not to be met! Soon, it would seem, anything less than perfect won't be acceptable 😂 So I need to stop that from happening, basically....if that makes sense
@@SirHairless Ah yes, that does make sense, although it was oddly worded when you said it. LOL. I really do enjoy your reactions to PTX videos more than most reactors. I am extremely interested in the chord structures and I seriously admire the amazing talent of PTX to always creatively choose the chords that really build the song and work to make the arrangement unique and amazing.
SH! This one is so much fun, I agree! And when you said, “Kevin, calm yourself boy” I was drinking tea and almost spewed it out?!?! 😅 Note to self, no drinking during a SH video reaction? 😬 I was watching another reactor one time and he commented on their accent. In some of their earlier videos I can hear the Texas Southern accent with Mitch, Scott and Kirstin but especially Kirstin. He is from Ireland and loves an American Southern Accent. So this started an extremely confusing back and forth in his comment section about the accent until finally he was like, no their Jamaican accent. I was like, ohhh, I didnt even notice the Jamaican accent, duh. 🙄 I really do think I miss 90% of what is really going on? And yes, I think it is weird that I pick up on their accent since the three are from Arlington, TX, which is about 2 hours south of me, depending on traffic. I normally don’t pick up on accents that are like my own, I am like, what accent?!?! 🤔 Wowzers, that went somewhere but nowhere important?!?! 😬 Thanks! T ✌🏻
One of my favorites. Never realized the similarity with O Come All Ye Faithful, thanks for that. I am puzzled about a word you use which sounds like "paw" meaning appreciation. It's the second time I've heard you say it. I'm a huge fan of British telly, learned a lot of new expressions/words but this word is a first. Would you please spell it?
Hmmm...can you put the timestamp where I said it please so I can check? Not sure off the top of my head 😅 Or is it a slightly more onomatopoeiac, like "pwhooarrr"? If so, that's just like a vocalisation of "wow" or "jeez" or "sheesh" or something
It's at 8:39 at Kevin's "calm down" sound. I think you've probably correctly identified the expression onomatopoecally (I'm surprised that there's not an American spelling for that). Is this commonly used?
@@rorysnap7026 Ah yes, it's just as I explained above ☺ Just a way of (very informally) expressing admiration for something. It's not too commonly used where I'm from, I'd say!
This popped up in my feed. It goes back to the Babytonix, posted almost as a blooper. Their earliest Aha!, perhaps - it’s out of frame a bit and seems to be recorded on something primitive - maybe the iPad they used. You could do a Pentatonix: Evolution of Aha! ruclips.net/video/8r3B9j2WF0k/видео.htmlsi=o29Eo-GkGBGNluWg
Hey, many are tired of various renditions of Hallelujah but I assure you - it will be well worth it. It will give you repeated chills! And I'm dying to hear your perspective on the Official version from them. I also have link to live performance which is --- incredibly ---JUST AS AMAZING: ruclips.net/video/haFHrfmfHbc/видео.html. It shows they don't use auto-tune and it'd be a good follow-up after reviewing their official version. Anyway, I'm getting 'into' your other reviews as well now!
Sounds too juvenile to me, but, perhaps, it's to be expected with cheerleaders involved... Was going to write "teenish", but was advised not to make up words)) so just 👍 for your 5th attempt
It is quite young & poppy, but they did this years ago to what was a popular song in that time, putting their own special sauce on it. It’s just some good fun.
Haha! You know I like to keep information about myself private, but I think I can say that I have worked with Sir Antonio Pappano several times previously, some years back
Sir Hairless, you're truly amazing! Salute!🫡 Seems that you didn't take any breath when you explained the details. And your facial expression's so adorable. Your happy eyes, smiles and your little dance, showing that you really enjoy the music and the performance too. You look so lively when it's suitable to your taste. Btw, what genre is your music preference? Hahaha I just realized that you do the reaction of the artist and I do the reaction of your reaction. So funny.! Yes, I love in observing people's expressions and reactions,
Thank you so much! Haha yes sometimes I run out of breath, you should see some of the out-takes 😅 I listen to music dating from the 15th century all the way through to 2024 - so I listen to a wide variety of things! Now we just need someone to react to your reaction of my reaction
Ohh yes, I’m curious to know if there is anybody react to my reaction of your reaction. Sir, could you do a reaction to Dimash’s song “Love is like a dream” for the valentine day, special gift for me and your other fans. Is it too much if I request you to sing little bit?, uhmm just 1 line from your favorite song at the end of reaction. *Now I become demanding hahaha blame me for being so addicted to your reaction 😬🫣
@@medijunus8998 Unfortunately I already have a different video planned for Valentine's Day which was requested a long time ago! But 'Love Is Like A Dream' is on my list for a future reaction ☺ Haha as I replied to you last time, I don't think people are here to see me sing so no promises there Sorry!
@@SirHairless ok, no problem if you don’t want to sing. Perhaps oneday if you change your mind hahahaha should we do a vote? 😂 Hope to see the Love is like a dream’s reaction in the nearest future. 🙏🏻Have a wonderful day, Sir! 🤗👋🏼

I love your face when they surprise you or something makes you really pleased. LOL I really want to see you analyze "Sing". It is also a joyous song
Rock on Sir 🎸🎼🎸

Joyful indeed! Love watching the sparkles of joy when you smile with your whole face during reactions like this😊
Smiles all around!! So fun!!!
Honestly, your reviews are amazing. Your understanding of music is PHENOMENAL. Thank you for taking your precious time to review for us!!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying
@@SirHairlessit’s true, u have an amazing ear and u explain musicality (I’m sure that’s not right) so well and without pretension. Thank you!
I ALWAYS have to chair dance through this one, just can’t help myself! I’m glad you enjoyed it too!
I love your reaction and teaching videos....I hear the songs that I have listened to countless times, so differently. Thank you for your expertise once again!
This song, especially by Pentatonix always makes me so happy! It’s such a fun song! But also I’ve always loved an Afro Caribbean vibe.
AWESOME REACTION -- I just love this!!!
Their version of cheerleader is like auditory caffeine for me! I love it. Voiceplay came out with a Cheerleader cover right around the same time as PTX. I prefer the PTX version, but Voiceplay's is fun too.
The look on your face says it all. Glad you enjoyed it.
I do love your reactions. Thanks. You always seem to love the music
I can’t listen to it without moving some part of my body lol.🎉
❤ R/A ! Chefs kiss to you .
Interesting! When you say "they", you mean Felix Jaehn (the one who made the remix)?
A remix extended play was released in May 2015 by Ultra, which began to first see commercial success that fall.
i was listening this song for days, years ago, but i dont think i know other versions then pentatonix
I put the original versions in the description if you're curious to check them out
Loved the reaction, as usual!!
I do enjoy your PTX reactions.
Love your review and analysis on PTX songs!! I love this one - such a fun cover by them 🙌🏻❤
Excellent as always sir! 😁
Once again your reaction and analysis is worthy of a gold medal!
Thank you!
Always enjoy your reactions!❤
Thanks! Haha I think this is a different kind of enjoyment - a much more fun-looking one
I know Jacob so reactions wouldn't really work....also, my brain would probably go into overdrive and explode
There's something about counterpoint sections when they just 'click'. Must be so satisfying from an arrangement-perspective
Well-said!
Always enjoy your comments and the thought you put into them. I know you are doing the older songs but if you want to branch out you could try Mitch's cover of Your Power by Bille Eilish or Superfruit and friends cover of Rise by Katy Perry. Both are amazing.
Yes! But re Power, definitely the version that includes the instrumental track he made to back it
The beat reminds me a little of Ladysmith Black Mambazo and their work on Graceland.
Seeing your PTX reaction come up makes me so happy!! Love this cover! I’d love a reaction to Love Again, Rather Be and Water from Popspring 2016. 💜
I love it when they really surprise you 'Kevin - calm yourself Boy!' and 'I'm sorry but that's ridiculous!' and when you coin new phrases 'a merry Mitch slap!'
I'm excited about all your upcoming reactions but particularly the ones I know you will have a lot to say about such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Aha Live in Singapore, any of the 'Evolution' videos, Love Again, The Prayer, Kiss from a Rose, Hallelujah, Sounds of Silence and Valentine (next week hopefully!)
See you again soon!
Thank you! Imagine was certainly a powerful one, and then the arrangements of Carol Of The Bells and Sugarplum were just insane
Haha Kevin just didn't care Only 10 months until we can start using 'merry Mitch slap' again 🎄
Just love your reaction and analysis. Smilin' and groovin'. Kevin is a beast!! 🩷
An epic reaction to an epic video!
They seem to do a little Reggae beat in several songs over the years. It always seems to work.
Wonderful reaction! Not a choice that I expected from you, somehow. "Joyous" is a good word for it. By the way, if you want the US English idiom, those "benches" in the "gymnasium" are "bleachers in the gym."
Ahhh bleachers, yes I've heard that used in TV before! Thanks for the info 👍
@@SirHairless Any time! I'm a word nerd.

Concur 100% with recommendations for Havana but especially Say Something. Loved this reaction class :D that's what I call them, learn so much from your vids, thank you
and when you do Hallelujah the live Xmas version is the one you want OR you can do a double reaction, maybe? the studio and live version comparison, just a thought :D

Oo love the double head tap
Like your reaction)
I really always love your reactions, and the thoughtfulness that you point out about the chord structures. I do wonder what you meant when you said at 09:54 "I need to be careful not to get my expectations too high for Pentatonix..." ?
Thanks! Oh yes, sorry I probably didn't word this too well 😅 Let me try again:
All I meant was that the higher the expectations are for a performer, the easier it is for those expectations not to be met!
I love Pentatonix!
I still want to see you do "Oh It's Not Evening Yet" by Diana Ankudinova please! It's the most beautiful song I've ever heard ❤
❤
😬 Thanks! T ✌🏻
Yes, in general I tend to avoid speaking about accents (again, in general) in these videos
If you haven’t already listen to The Prayer, Can’t hold us and Sing.

Do check out The Prayer next.
Not sure off the top of my head 😅
Or is it a slightly more onomatopoeiac, like "pwhooarrr"?

Hey, many are tired of various renditions of Hallelujah but I assure you - it will be well worth it. It will give you repeated chills! Oh look everyone...another troll trying to be funny...and failing.
It is quite young & poppy, but they did this years ago to what was a popular song in that time, putting their own special sauce on it. It’s just some good fun.
