You are now part of a select few builders who now wield the Lirdfingers tone of approval award. This is a rare achievement in the field of electronics and human ingenuity. Soon I will launch the official site as the premiere amplification tone analyst and I will also become the foremost authority on anything tone related. Do I comprehend the mysteries of electronics and tone? Nope. But, I have something rare indeed. Ears that recognize greatness in the field of magical tone!
Thanks for the Kemper profiles! Even though I'm essentially a tube amp guy, the Kemper gets amazingly close, and the ability to load up interesting amps like yours to evaluate at ~90% of the actual amp's playing experience is very cool. (I'm working through your web site to make a choice on my next kit. Your demos are really helping me decide. I'll be in touch.)
Awesome! Agree too, the Kemper etc cannot replace a tube amp. It's a cool tool, to have alongside but not to replace. Sounds and feels great into my studio monitors, great for practice.
I am a Kemper fan but correct it is not identical - perfect. My personal view is I will never have a vintage Marshall or one of Jason's amps in my small playing room at home so 90% range is good enough. Good luck on your build!
Massive tones and great amp - guitar eye candy!!! Both killer in the mix. Huge bonus at the end as well "load them up in your Kemper"! Grrrr I have to leave for work and there is a storm outside. Want to fire up the Kemper instead! Perhaps the first Headfirst Amplification profile pack looms on the horizon??? 🤘😊🥳
I am having a good old time with the profiles. At the moment fave is the MTL L6 Boost. Using the Kabinet set to full-range mode within the impulse section. Tweaked the gain down just a bit as it worked best with my guitar. Really gnarly tone. I rarely add effects but enabled delay and reverb as well set lightly in the mix. Really good profile that responds well to personal tweaks which are most often minimal. Cheers Jason!
I've got the signal chain up in the top right corner during the riff/track. Its a brainworx cab IR out of the Friedman sim for UA Apollo. All the amp sim stuff is turned off, just using the cab block and in the Apollo's Unison slot I find it has really low latency.
All kinds of different blends. There are like 80+ cab IR's to choose from, American, Friedman, English. The one I use the most is #58 which is an English 4x12 - GB's.
@@HeadfirstAmps That’s what I was asking. You would know -but many don’t know that changing speakers makes a HUGE difference. In many cases changing speakers make a bigger difference than changing amps.
The MTL , definitely . If I can’t get a fully assembled head , perhaps I’ll have to learn to build one ! 🙏

Excellent.... wish I could get one of your 100 watt MC 2's here in the USA
Awesome video! I dont have a kemper but it so nice from you to share kemper profiles! (Those are at least 10usd worth hahah).
Ha, hopefully someone gets a kick out of them!

Thank you kindly! Definitely testing the waters on the Kemper pack...let's see what the folks think!
The MCII is as advertised. More "classic" sounding. Great profile that dials in very nicely.
Awesome profiles, thank you so much!
Glad you like them!

Glad you're digging them!
You make great amps and kemper profiles my friend.
Dang sounds good, wish I could try one out somewhere.
The MCII for rhythm and the MTL for leads.
Good call. See that's why we need one of each!
I like both but I think I ordered the right oneq
Hey Jason how does the MTL 50 compare to the alta 100?
What pickups are in the Knaggs? Sound great.
Thanks. The SD Saturday Night Specials it came with.
I wanted one so much but the builders you refer on your website charge as much as a used wizard
It’s a lot of work building an amp. Thats why folks DIY themselves because your own time costs nothing.
@HeadfirstAmplification and I'll happily spend my time improving skills and learning, while doing what I'm passionate about.
Are the circuits more or less a hotrod 800?
A hot rodded Marshall Jubilee actually.
What speaker emulation were you using?

@@HeadfirstAmps So its a simulation of a Friedman 4x12 (V30s and 25watt greenbacks)?

100% agree!
hey,you are pretty ripping player to boot!
For sure definitely adds to the entertainment factor!
