Thai coconut red curry Salmon

- I can whip it up this thai curry salmon in just 20 minutes, which is faster than ordering takeout. That's why I really enjoy this dish! That's the beauty of having Thai curry paste on hand - it's convenient to have jars of green and red curry paste in your pantry or fridge for quick meals. Don't worry it's not cheating as it's typical to buy fresh paste from markets in Thailand, you could also make it from scratch if you have the time, I have a few recipes but realistically, a good authentic Thai jar is the best way to go.
Snow peas add a delightful texture; be careful not to overcook them, so they maintain a slight crunch. Pair it with jasmine rice, and don't forget to add a couple of kaffir lime leaves while cooking the rice for a lovely aroma. It's a simple dish perfect for any time of day. Yes we should all be eating more small fish.
In NYC with a large Thai population (more I think than Melbourne) especially Queens not one place with kaffir lime leaves. Thai Basil, lemongrass also not easy to find and/or quite expensive. A nice recipe but a lot of saturated fat - no big problem it's not as if it's every day.
I was going to do buttered chicken tonight but i think i've been swayed to this.
Both are great but this is easier!

Could you please describe the flavor & difference between green & red curry…as I am only familiar with yellow curry. Thank you & I am in love e with Whiskey.
I made this 2 nights ago and it was sooo good except it was way too spicy even for me and I love spicy food! The pain was worth it though! I will definitely make this again but do you have any advice on how to lessen the spice or make it no spice at all? My 7 year old ran to the kitchen when she smelled it but I told her she couldn’t eat it because it is too spicy so I promised her I’ll make it again next time not spicy.
