Creed were so under rated, beautiful melodies and heavy guitars.
The guitar player was underated. Scott sucks.
Tremonti’s such a cool/fun player. Love his little fills between chords.
He is by far got the coolest riffs. He somehow fuses what would typically be two guitars and makes it one with Creed, and to some extent Alter Bridge
His solos in Alter Bridge are technical asf. Very underrated guitarist.
Another awesome cover, lol I remember in the early 2000's I used to sing "Can you take me higher to a place with limen seeds, can you take me higher to a place with golden streams", what ever the F are limen seeds lol. It was kind of a light bulb moment when I revisited the album back in 2010 and I actually heard "Can you take me higher to a place where blind men see" and "streets" not "streams". I was like "that makes so much more sense", I felt kind of silly but then again I was 8 years old.
Don't feel bad... I was in my 20s back then and heard something similar.

I could never understand why the lead guitar played the rythym part at the intro and the bridge when the rythym guitar could just play that part, because to me it seems like it's a lot more strain playing the rhythm chords and lead notes at the same time. I think you did a great job capturing that.

You don't have to fret the A on the second bar of the intro/melodic riff. You can use the tip of your first finger to mute your high D string, and your thumb to mute the low D, and just let your open A string ring. Gives it a slightly fuller sound and a little more control over the legato run at the end of the measure.

Thats the problem they make it look easy but its far from that....and Mark is a very under rated musician. And most singers wish they could muster up Scott's Voice. I have seen them 6 times. I was at the show before the melt down and the show in KC that night was Incredible I have never seen 15 thousand people all in INSYNC with each other.

It genuinely sucks that Stapp and Tremonti couldn't find common ground regarding the band's religious undertones.
