Love your videos about the IS 250! I have a 2007 IS 250 and can turn off traction control by simply holding down the button as in your car. Although mine is Right-hand drive so there may be some differences for the UK market.
It took me a few tries but the key here is when you push the parking brake you have to make sure the brake light comes on the dash each time that you press it

Make sure your gas tank is screwed in tight, give it 4 days to recheck it’s self, and the light will go off, make sure gas tank is at half or under for the ending to have enough air pressure for the engine check
While seated in the driver seat, put both hands on the steering wheel and say these words "I love my Lexus". After that, look to the right, then to the left, and nod 3 times. That should turn it on.

In my 2006 IS250 when I press the TRC button it does the same, but it doesn't turn it completely off. It allows for a little bit of slippage but if you try to put the car completely sideways the traction control will kick in still

I have 2007 manual, and it works just with a button. I believe this was the issue only for 2005-2006 years.
Guys i have IS 250 2006, and after push button “TRC OFF”, i see orange icon same like in video, soo really its issue 2005-2006?
2006-2008 model years were a bit tricky to turn off the traction control

@@rkeow no only for 2006 and downwards I have 2008 is350 and 250 and i only need to hold button for 5 seconds and its completely off

I never turned my traction control off. But it went off on its own. And the button doesn’t work any-longer. What is going on in this case?
Is vsc off too ? You should scan it with a obd 2 scanner and see what the code is
ZW W No. occasionally with every engine light I get, the VCS light will come on too.
The same here Lexus RX350 2019 0:00 0 model stil comes on TRC/VSC Light

I miss my RWD Manual IS250. Now I have an AWD Auto IS250 and I don't like it. It's very difficult to find the manual IS250s here.

Just press the Traction control button again, or when you turn off the engine and turn on its all back to normal traction control ON
