I got in on the last day of the closed beta and put quite a few hours in. I feel like if what’s in the beta is all there will be at launch the game will be dead in a few months. There’s just so little to do, and what there is to do has no real variety. Two whole animals to hunt, I have only caught like 4 different species of bug, three or four variety of fish, and found two whole ores to mine. Cooking feels pointless since all food does is give you focus. What we were given isn’t even a beta. Betas are usually feature complete or close to it. This is a late stage alpha at best.
