The only name I recognise here is Luchasaurus (I know nothing about wrestling, but he was in the "Super Slow Show" once- seems like a cool guy by the way), but it's always fun to see a game that both delivers actual gameplay and doesn't take itself too seriously:)

The best part of Dark was always seeing the people they brought in for a per appearance type thing. Also Excalibur and Taz together alone "in the booth" was always a comedic set up. I loved Dark and later Dark Elevation as well. But I digress

I STILL can't believe it (even if the likeness isn't good, I know his face lol). So just imagine this. You grow up with your best friend - who wrestled in a homebrew Ring with us in his backyard btw - (I've f**king wrestled Trent lol) and then your BFF tells you "my brother is gonna be a pro wrestler!". You go on living your life, RUclips explodes, and the first channel you really fall in love with is this upstart with Andy from Inside Xbox, Mike from OXM, & millionaire RUclipsr Jane Douglas😅 You watch it for years, it grows and becomes a wonderful community. Then one day, *that channel who you've watched since day one, says they're ABOUT TO WRESTLE **_YOUR BEST FRIEND'S BROTHER,_** in a VIDEO GAME!* To make it even more insane- they're called the damn *BEST FRIENDS!* I know I'm late to this video, but again- I got a lot going on lately. I just hope that anyone can appreciate how amazing, mind-blowing and RADICAL AF this is for me, and everyone I will be sending this to! I'm seeing a lot of people say this game looks terrible, and I have to wonder if they have actually played wrestling video games at all despite what they say. This looks like every other wrestling game ever, all due respect to AEW.
@@jsmith3946 Personally, I feel the WWE control system is a fancy way of trying to give people more fine control over what they're doing, but have you ever tried to play a modern WWE game with other people irl who aren't so well versed in them? And honestly, playing with other people was the best part when I was a kid playing Smackdown 2 on the PS1.
@@wbfaulk I used to be WAY more judgy about that. It's not _really_ a cheesesteak with those, more of a hot beef hoagie. But these days, hey, eat what makes you happy :)
WWEhas wanted to use him in games and docs for years but Martha Hart keeps blocking them from doing so. For good reason. She specifically gave AEW the permission to honor him.

I used to watch a lot, even went to see smackdown live when they came to town, was great fun, think a bit of my eyebrows singed when my favorite came out (kane), sadly think Mick Foley was retired so no Mankind…anyways the games are fun and this one seems cool
The match scoring system gives higher scores to shorter matches, as well as higher scores for you losing less health throughout the course of the fight. Both indicators of a one sided, boring match. It’s based on dominance, rather than some sort of “audience enjoyment” metric…which would’ve been more fun
I do enjoy that has my favorite part of wwe 2k20. It's absolutely unhinged and ridiculous so you have no idea what's going to happen next. My favorite part of wrestling.
Yeah they stripped back the press conference mode from the original version where you had a free entry text field and as many muffins as you could cram into your mouth

I'm unfortunately not going to be able to view much more of your future youtube content under these circumstances. It shame, because oxbox and oxboxtra are my favorite youtube channels. Really wish RUclips would be reasonable and allow some level of accessibility features/customization. But we should all know better than to expect RUclips to ever do the right thing. Anyways, wishing you all the best for the future. Hopefully I'll be able to safely tune in again, eventually.

I live in Jacksonville Florida and that restaurant didn't have enough random stuff stapled to the walls but the gator tail is on point!
I want a simulator of going out to various cities and eating regional delicacies without the wrestling part.
The Yakuza games are kinda like that only there’s a lot of street fighting in between delicacy eating.

Agreed. AEW had her on to present the belts for the charity tournament they started for him. The chairman of AEW seems like a genuinely chill guy.
