I love women who do this and don't have to explain why they are doing it. I used to have really long hair and now I have a faux hawk and I love it. It was the best choice I ever made because it made life so much easier. I am planning to grow the faux hawk part out so I can flip it to either side of my head and leave the sides buzzed.
