Absolutely epic insight to a world I am stoked to dive in to. Interesting to see where Michael’s heads at during each part of his process. No better interviewer or orator in the booktubesphere than John himself!!
Michael R. Miller the man, the myth, the LEGEND! Man, what I would do to have a group discussion with Mr. Miller, Ruocchio, Cahill, and Gwynne. That would be a sold-out event 365 days a year! Great interview John and awesome questions! 🎉❤
John I just wanted to tell you that the “poetry” I am finding in the first book in Tad Williams Osten Ard ( a novella) is breathtaking! While listening to the audio I can not do anything that makes noise as I can not miss a single word . The last time I felt that way was on my third re- listen of LOTR just to absorb the prose. This guy is definitely the closest writer to Tolkien so far in my experience.
This was absolutely delightful! I have been meaning to read Songs of Chaos for such a long time now, but the progression aspect always scared me off a bit. However, with Michael's clarifications here and hearing him talk about how it's so emotion-driven, I am FULLY on board!! Thanks for sharing the fun 🤩
It’s so cool. My 9yo daughter read all Songs of Chaos series and is on the third book of the Dragon’s blade series. She reads everything about Dragons and said that Michael R Miller is the best Dragon writer. He needs to write more series.
@@Michael_R_Miller There's no stock in Waterstones here in Newcastle, but I ordered Ascendant and Defiant and should have them Monday morning. And, congratulations for choosing the best BookTube channel for an interview.
I picked up the songs of chaos for super cheap on Ryan Cahill’s big day of the dragon event. Looking forward to reading, especially after hearing Michael talk! Great interview, John
Oh my gosh, i am currently reading Ascendant. I want to babysit Ash and feed him and feed him venison all night. This is a wonderful video, nice to meet you, Mr. Miller and great to see you John, Shardblade warrior! P.s., I'm 65 and a fan!
What a joy fellas! Thanks for the time :)
@@Michael_R_Miller absolute pleasure on our parts! Was so lovely being able to talk in person.
