7:05 i just wanted to add that it's also an option to start now! for me, when i start a journal a few days before a new year, i find that i feel less like i have to make it perfect :) great video!
I had this journal in my 2 years of preparing for entrance exams, and I named it "REFLECTIONS" and whenever I felt like this day which I experienced has something to learn or something emotionally I want to change I would write that day in my journal.
Hii your video just popped up on my fyp so i guess this is destiny 💗 since recently I have been wanting to get into the habit of journaling 📝 however, one major problem for me is that my writing speed cannot keep up with my train of thoughts 💭 so most of the time I gave up writing and instead just started talking to myself 😂😭 idk if you have encountered the same issue and if u have any tip to get over that 😭 plus can I ask do you set aside a time to journal everyday, like before bed? tysm! 💗
Hi, thanks so much for your comment! I totally understand what you mean-I’ve experienced those moments when my hands just can’t keep up with my thoughts too. When that happens, I try to slow my thoughts down and remind myself that it’s okay not to write everything down. What matters most is capturing the essence of what I’m feeling or thinking in that moment, rather than putting pressure on myself to record every detail. As for journaling, I don’t have a strict schedule for it. I just make sure to keep my journal in sight so that whenever I feel overwhelmed, I can pick it up and write down my thoughts. Since I don’t force myself into a rigid routine, I find journaling to be much less stressful-and I think that’s why I’ve been able to keep it up consistently for the past six years. That said, I do try to write at least once a week. Welcome to the community! I’m so happy you’ve joined us!
Sis I also tried to do this but I can't did it consistently 😅😅😅 Even though I am thinking to start again next year I am having a fear wat if anyone read it 😢😢😢 And I have a doubt, if can we use journaling app to store it safely 😅😅😅
Hi there! Really loved your video!❤ i really want to start journaling but i have severe anxiety. I always feel like something bad is going to happen. I'm afraid to write because what if something bad happens that day the how will i ever be able to open that journal again to write what happened. I know it's silly but I'm so afraid. I've no idea whether I'm making any sense or not or you will be able to understand what I'm trying to say 😂
Thank you so much for commenting! I totally see where your concern is coming from, and it’s fascinating because I actually see the journal in the opposite way. For me, it’s a space to unload all my dark and heavy emotions, letting the journal carry those concerns so I can clear my mind and feel refreshed. It doesn’t have to be perfect or long-just jotting down a few bullet points is a great start. Take it one step at a time and see where it leads you 🤍
The point talking about the pressure of making it perfect and aesthetic is SOOO TRUEE
