Great video! Beautiful hair! Why did you add the adore colors? Do they even out the colors a bit? I’m trying to do some color correction to my hair.
Thank you so much! I added the adore colors to make it just a darker shade of ginger but it didn’t do much honestly :)
When you have locs...you will need at least 5-6 tubes of color to saturate really good
I actually only used 1-2 and it worked well for me :)

Can you add the Cajun spice and orange blaze without the conditioner and just add it to the developer or your head ? Or do you need the conditioner ?
You can do it without the conditioner; I really only added it because with the conditioner, it’s more protective for your hair; especially with all the dye I already added beforehand. I recommend doing it with conditioner but it wouldn’t be too crazy if done without :)

Do u have to wait until u hit the 1 year mark to dye ? I got loc’d July 31, 2021 and i really want to dye my hair, considering a box dye.
It’s always better to wait a year before you dye your locs just so that they will have a healthier foundation for them to form/loc correctly :)

My locs are gonna clock 17 months by the 22nd of this month so almost 1 year and 5 months :)

No, not initially but weeks to months down the line… it’ll start to feel dry and brittle depending on your haircare routine :)

The color does eventually fade after some months but by then, it’ll be time for a touch up on your roots anyway :)
