    I'm 23 and have watched you, poundstone and zydrunas since I was a kid. You inspired me to start lifting which helped me overcome my depression and gave me a purpose, which is coaching kids in weight training. Ive watched enough of you over the years to see there is more than just hamstring pain going on, and I want you to know that you to me will always be the greatest strongman ever. There is no equal, because a strongman has character, strength, determination, perseverance and heart, you have all of those. The way you are always calm and not rude to people just because they are a weaker lifter encourages me to behave the same at my gym. To build everyone up, and to move forward through the pain. I cannot thank you enough for what you have helped me through by just showing the willpower to carry on. Thanks

    Brian man you are a warrior, but you do have to realize than many of your fans are just as big of a fan of Brian the man as well as Brian the Strongman. You can’t possibly let your true fans or your family down with such a logical decision. I know a guy that was a very gifted athlete from a very poor family. Had family taking out a 2nd mortgage to pay for training and send him to the right schools, but he decided to party hard, not realizing that natural talent only takes you so far. The rest is committed and consistent hard work and dedication, which only comes from the heart of a warrior. You are a warrior, but your smarts and good decisions is what has made you a great champion and a great man. We’ll see you back strong and healthy for the next one. If you push and are overcompensating with your healthy leg, you could end up with an even more severe injury on the other side.

    Great job Brian and speedy recovery. RUclips has been a blessing for this sport in my opinion. Between Brians channel and Larry Wheels posting his training videos with Hafthor, we are getting more insight into what these guys do then ever before. The fact that the entire Arnold was posted here on RUclips this year was a treat. Mr. Shaw great job and Thank you for allowing us a inside look with your channel.

    • @tuesmorninginsept
      @tuesmorninginsept 5 лет назад +7

      Licis, I think... would be good for you to collaborate with... and or Larry Wheels! I'm pretty sure that he would work with you... It takes a spark plug to get an engine going... You'd be good for oneanother.. both of those guys, I'd work with if I were you, Brian. You better get some serious blood work done... I can see it.. that your thyroid needs support. You may need a little of whatever will increase your metabolism, and you will have to work harder... without injuries.. Your sugar may be too high... I hope that you combat that with something that increases your metabolism, instead of becoming insulin dependent. Whatever it takes, within reason, to increase the volume of your training, and the ability to recover quickly... Just be careful man.. We all want you around for years to come.
