@@tuesmorninginsept great points !
I apprecitate that you've allowed some vulnerable moments to be shown to the masses of youtube here. Takes heart.
I’m a grown ass man
Why am I tearing up watching him fighting through injury
I’m feeling every emotion he going through when he was discussing with his wife. I’ve been through injuries and I get it you are a true champion in my book. God bless you in your journey.
Focus on healing man. There’s no shame in that.
I feel you Goku no one knows that better that you.
You're the most popular here in the 🇬🇧 for sure. Everyone compares all the strongmen to Brian Shaw. That says something.
Not for long.
You can't speak for everyone. And all that people go on about in England, is Eddie Hall.
@@jjwp-ql5rv fungus amongus. I remember that album years ago. Yes you're right. Let me correct my comment. I mean to say all of the people I talk to in my local gym here in England. Thanks
@@goonerinSP
Good to see a fellow Englishman in the comments. Right OK mate, I understand what you mean now.
@@jjwp-ql5rv Eddie and Brian are good friends, and given Hall has retired from the pro scene most fans would now root for Brian.
bad news....Bradley Martyn.
I agree
"Bro, I can't believe you did that with a torn hamstring, bro, hey bro, you think I could push that thing bro?"
You're forgetting the strongest muscle you will always have brian, your heart. You inspire plenty of us here and as it pained me to see you get injured, you're a legend in your own field and I am positive you're gonna come back even stronger and fully recovered. Much love big guy
8:26 I love how Bradley Martin looks like a regular dude who doesn’t lift next to Brian 😂
needs to juice more to than shaw n his genetics
Dom is biggest
SBG rules You mean he should put on 100 lbs of fat
so true xd
@@unknownseizure lmao dude how do you figure they're 400~ pounds of lean mass?
Brian we love u ... we don't care if u won or lose ... we just want u to keep training and compete
He didn't win but he took home the prize 10:15
Lol ain't that the truth
Oh yes!
19:15 how she convinces him to go smart
Of course, she IS gorgeous
Thor's wife is hotter
@@Rookiebookem i disagree
@IanEarl Hifarva Yeah, Thor has a daughter.
Your still a monster Brian even though things didn't turned out as planned you still are to me and my younger brother one of the strongest men to ever walk this planet
Prayers for a speedy recovery Brian. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
So sorry that you got injured..., hope and prayers for a quick recovery. You are the best!
Next time big guy! It was an odd event with so many injuries, Thor was a beast, and Kilis and Martins are getting dangerous, but you still got it! Your legacy is already safe but we can see that you're still up there anyway, and it's great!
Record breaking deadlifts are no joke. It goes to show what a beast Thor is! Trying a 501 kg deadlift that would kill any other competitor and still comfortable winning the competition. It think people don't grasp the magnitude of what Thor did this weekend!
Just focus on recovering for WSM Brian you did great.
It's not tuff to see Brian hurt, people get hurt and recover all the time and so will he. What's really painfull is seeing such a kind and good man sad. All the best to you Brian, we all love you so much!!!
This if my first ever comment I have put on RUclips but I felt like I needed to do so because of how inspiring this video is. Not even the most manliest of men could do what Brian did today. I know if I had a torn hamstring I I can hardly even stand. And I'm sure most of your audience would feel the same way. Keep your head held up high Brian and keep on beeing the inspiration you have been for years. I hope you recover soon!
Speedy recovery. You showed class, heart, intelligence, and Shaw strength.
Brian I am so proud of you for putting your health first. You are a true warrior and an inspiration. In a video you said to listen to your body and that saved me from a serious injury. You're the reason I tuned in to the Arnold and I look forward to your recovery videos.
Brian there is no shame in recovering. Just heal up because I searched up your problem and it heals up in 3-4 weeks so in the bright side you could make it to worlds strongest man. You will win it I believe in you
I love you Brian and wish you a speedy recovery.
Hey, just wanted to thank you for showing the behind the scenes. Even the times when you’re not feeling good or injured. It has helped me to get back into exercise and the gym.
You’re a true inspiration for us. You show us that even in our darkest hour we can still achieve something. You are an incredible human being and instead of blaming anyone or anything you are looking ahead and motivating the rest of the contenders. We love you big boy. Recover easy.
Bro, don't be so hard on yourself. There are few people in this world that could lift that even once with a ham injury. You have the heart of a champion and we love you, man!
Always good to see ya Brian...sorry for the injury.
You lost the battle but you will win the war brian! Just keep fighting!
oligri91 he literally just lost every single event what do you mean
@@thewerdo123 stfu loser
@@thewerdo123 he is injured!
@@thewerdo123 The battle was the Arnold. The war to win is to become the best strongman in history. I 100 % belive Brian can still win that war. 💪
I've been dealing with debilitating anxiety trying to finish out my last semester of college and watching you over the last few months has made an indescribable difference in keeping my attitude positive and helping me fight through the struggles of each day. This setback is brutal, but it's the way you've always bounced back from setbacks like this that inspired me to keep going. Maybe the competition didn't work out how you expected, but the path you took to get where you are today inspired countless number of us and that doesn't change with an injury. From the bottom of my heart thank you Brian.
Dude you inspired me to lift and now people are noticing how much stronger I’ve gotten it’s all cause of you thanks man don’t put your self down you didn’t let use down we are proud of you
Awesome work, Brian! You’re an inspiration to us all
This man is inspiration for us.
Speedy recovery big man.
You just earned yourself a subscriber. I usually stop by here and there but the fact that you went down to cheer on your competitors shows the kind of person you are - one with honor.
I got so many chills watching this video. We love you and your whole family!
Good job Brian! We're all proud of you buddy.
Unlucky Brian. Youll smash the world strongest man!!!
unfortunately I dont really see him beating Thor ever again if Thor stays healthy...nonetheless Brian is always a podium guys and no matter what he does from now on, one of the greatest of all time!!
@@davidbecker7377 True, but this was basically setting the competitors for injury. I know they push as hard as they can all the time, but having a WR attempt and then following up with a whole competition is just brutal.
Matěj Chalupa totally agree, 5 injured athletes during to competition is just way to many, I think the layout of the competition was not optimal...
lmao
You'll heal quick. Thanks for the videos. You'll get it at WSM this year.
You are one tough sob I salute you and wish you fast healing! You are my idol thank you Brian. Stay strong!!!!
You let no one down! You are in inspiration, please continue being you
Injuries strikes sooner or later, happens to everyone. You'll get over it big man, focus on your recovery and get ready for next year, cheers from Brazil!
Dude don’t feel bad! There was nothing you could do about the injury! You went out there and gave it your best! Next year bro! Kerry wow! Fit mommy more like very fit mommy! And after 2 kids.... good for you! Don’t give up Shaw family! We your fans aren’t going anywhere!!!! God bless
@consistency man Your tongue will get sore too. Nobody stays at the top/or in the sport forever. Plus, his comment was just a positive one. Nothing fanboy-ish about it. Don't see why you felt the need to respond in that manner.
Honestly think its weird having the deadlift at first besides the fact brian and thor slipped during the lift... the fact you kept going is crazy, respect Brian
Is it the stage? They train on concrete but then get put on a wooden stage to try and lift historic weight.
@@Ripcookiethief the stage is just a wood podium with rubber squares on top, when thor deadlifted the rubber square slipped forward under his left foot. They should at least secure the rubber with glue or something
The deadlift is first because the organizers want to see records broken, and no one is going to lift 500kg after a full weekend of competing
So the guys are at full strength and health to put up huge numbers. If they did it any later some of that would be gone with muscle fatigue.
I think if they did the deadlift last we would actually see more injuries. Having guys trying to pull 1100 plus pounds with 50k on the line, being fatigued after 2 days of events can't turn out well.
You and Keri inspire more than you'll know. We all wish you well in your training and recovery. Here is to a speedy recovery Brian!
You didn’t let any of us down, if anything your performance was an inspiration. You showed mental toughness to push through physical pain. Great job B.
I remember when I tore my hip flexor I couldn’t walk for a while but still tried to show everyone I was ok but this is next level
Brian and Keri are too much!!! 😍
Your still the man bro. you will be back. get well soon!!
You’re a freaking stud Bryan. We love you! These things happen! Don’t stress, Heal up, and keep your head up!!!
Love your positive attitude throughout all you do. You’re inspirational, Brian!
Best wishes for a complete recovery.
