My take, Allah's guidance first and then the efforts and akhlaaq that parents instill and raise their kids with. Allaha barakeeyo walaalkeen Ahmed iyo macalinkiisa macalin Abdinasir of whom i met at Makkah on the last 10 days of ramadhan immediately after Ahmed winning the competition.

All of this hard works and efforts go to our beloved Mashayikh especially Shaykh Hasan Abunar who worked hard the most with all of us in fixing our tajweed and correction of our recitation, stops and resumed, mad to everything else which we will never ever have reached without him, of course after Allah. On top of all of this, he has never ever charged a single penny for his efforts but instead used to host us in his house and spend on us from his own self. May Allah grant him jannah and bless him in this life and the after.

أنا أكتب هذا نيابة عن نفسي حذيفه صديقي والأخ عدين شهزاد و حمزة الحبشي.
كلنا حصلنا على المركز الثاني لثلاث سنوات متتالية ، ولكن هذا العام للمرة الأولى على الإطلاق ، حصلت أمريكا على المركز الأول بفضل الله. كل هذه الأعمال الصعبة والجهود المبذولة في ميزان شيوخنا جزاهم الله خيرا خاصة الشيخ حسن ابو نار الذي كان له الجهد الأكبر في تصليح مخارجنا وتحسين أدائنا والوقف والابتداء وتوازي المدود والغنن والتفخيم والترقيق ...الخ والذي لولاه بعد الله لم يصل احد منا الى ما وصل اليه الان كل ذلك والشيخ جزاه الله يعمل ذلك لوجه الله ولَم يطلب منا فلساً واحداً بل كان يستضيفنا في بيته ويكرمنا على حسابه . فجزاه الله أحسن الجزاء في الدنيا والاخرة. آمين
I am writing this on behalf of myself Huzaifah Siddiqui, Adeen Rahman and Hamza Alhabashy.
We all achieved 2nd place three years in a row, but this year for the first time ever America got 1st place with help and blessings of Allah. All of this hard works and efforts go to our beloved Mashayikh especially Shaykh Hasan Abunar who worked hard the most with all of us in fixing our tajweed and correction of our recitation, stops and resumed, mad to everything else which we will never ever have reached without him, of course after Allah. On top of all of this, he has never ever charged a single penny for his efforts but instead used to host us in his house and spend on us from his own self. May Allah grant him jannah and bless him in this life and the after.

﴿أَلَم تَعلَم أَنَّ اللَّهَ لَهُ مُلكُ السَّماواتِ وَالأَرضِ يُعَذِّبُ مَن يَشاءُ وَيَغفِرُ لِمَن يَشاءُ وَاللَّهُ عَلى كُلِّ شَيءٍ قَديرٌيا أَيُّهَا الرَّسولُ لا يَحزُنكَ الَّذينَ يُسارِعونَ فِي الكُفرِ مِنَ الَّذينَ قالوا آمَنّا بِأَفواهِهِم وَلَم تُؤمِن قُلوبُهُم وَمِنَ الَّذينَ هادوا سَمّاعونَ لِلكَذِبِ سَمّاعونَ لِقَومٍ آخَرينَ لَم يَأتوكَ يُحَرِّفونَ الكَلِمَ مِن بَعدِ مَواضِعِهِ يَقولونَ إِن أوتيتُم هذا فَخُذوهُ وَإِن لَم تُؤتَوهُ فَاحذَروا وَمَن يُرِدِ اللَّهُ فِتنَتَهُ فَلَن تَملِكَ لَهُ مِنَ اللَّهِ شَيئًا أُولئِكَ الَّذينَ لَم يُرِدِ اللَّهُ أَن يُطَهِّرَ قُلوبَهُم لَهُم فِي الدُّنيا خِزيٌ وَلَهُم فِي الآخِرَةِ عَذابٌ عَظيمٌسَمّاعونَ لِلكَذِبِ أَكّالونَ لِلسُّحتِ فَإِن جاءوكَ فَاحكُم بَينَهُم أَو أَعرِض عَنهُم وَإِن تُعرِض عَنهُم فَلَن يَضُرّوكَ شَيئًا وَإِن حَكَمتَ فَاحكُم بَينَهُم بِالقِسطِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ المُقسِطينَوَكَيفَ يُحَكِّمونَكَ وَعِندَهُمُ التَّوراةُ فيها حُكمُ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ يَتَوَلَّونَ مِن بَعدِ ذلِكَ وَما أُولئِكَ بِالمُؤمِنينَ﴾

سورة يونس : قُل لاَّ أَمْلِكُ لِنَفْسِي ضَراًّ وَلاَ نَفْعاً إِلاَّ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلٌ إِذَا جَاءَ أَجَلُهُمْ فَلاَ يَسْتَئْخِرُونَ سَاعَةً وَلاَ يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ (49)
سورة هود : خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا مَا دَامَتِ السَّمَوَاتُ وَالأَرْضُ إِلاَّ مَا شَاءَ رَبُّ** إِنَّ رَبَّ** فَعَّالٌ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ (107)
سورة الكهف : وَلَوْلا إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَ** قُلْتَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ إِن تَرَنِ أَنَا أَقَلَّ مِن** مَالاً وَوَلَداً (39)
سورة الانفطار : فِي أَيِّ صُورَةٍ مَّا شَاءَ رَكَّبَ** (8)
سورة الأعلى : إِلاَّ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ إِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ الجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَى(7)
