I completely overlooked that Song of Flame + Absorption Cells interaction, that's really cool! Reminds me of last season, I swapped from Sunbracers to Battle Harmony to get reliable heavy-generation while keeping the super-uptime. Definitely going to revive those loadouts with this approach in mind. And with the freedom to switch to Speaker's Sight / swap Singeing with Benevolence, I can still make a solid support build at the same time too. After being 'done' with my Star-Eater Nova Bomb setup, this is precisely what my warlock needed.
A nice sword to pair in the build is the false idols w/incandescent and chain reaction which can cause a lot of explosions and keep that scorch and resto going
I’m a warlock main I personally like this build better on Titan with precious scars used it last season but without restoration X2 it kinda falls apart in GM level content but stays pretty good in most stuff up to that point mabey not master content
@@hw811gaming6 I’m not a Titan main and I haven’t used strongholds but does strongholds get restoration X2 if so ima have to try that with Tommy’s matchbook and a legendary sword that would be insane
@@lyle7836yes, it gives you resto 2x but also makes your sword have max guard resistance, essentially making you borderline immortal. It also gives you more stacks of perfect guard based on how many attacks blocked, which more stacks of perfect guard=longer resto timer. Absolutely worth checking out if you like swords
@@vervastar base solar song of flame super speakers helmet fragments are( ember of benevolence ember of char ember of ashes and I can’t think of the name but the fragment that gives you class ability back for scorching targets) aspects helion and touch of flame and pheanix dive and fingersnap melee, it’s a hybrid scorching ignition build but also pretty much infinite restoration X2 if your pheanix diving near teammates when you cast song of flame lol you can completely disrespect the GM and I would highly recommend not using the grenade ability while in super so you get more finger snaps but yea not too original but by far warlocks most powerful build I just quit using it because I got bored of it
I was doing Heist Battleground Europa GM last night and I stood in the middle of the first room and continuously fired for 45 seconds. Never seen so many explosions in my life. Twas glorious.
Very nice ! Just wish they buffed the base damage of auto rifles because they really feel bad against anything other than trash redbars in higher end content
You physicallly cannot die from Heat Sink, it drops your HP to red health level, but the catty ups your health regen so you can stay there, you want woven mail or just good CC or resist (stag, stasis turrets or just being hyperaggressive with the full auto without leaving cover too hard) or using healing orbs from Recuperation leg mod, you will remain at full health with that or devour, keeping you in the amazing damage chunking loop for magazines at a time

I started doing only Tommy runs during the season launch before TFS, the amount of solar mods made it unlawfully OP, Polaris wasn't even in the picture compared to tommy's, but since Tommy's self damages, people brushed it off
@@marceletta actually, pc takes less damage. it is tied to frame. bungie tied damage to frame rate and pc players complained so much they nerfed it. console is far more difficult than pc. you’re free to do the experiment? i’ll wait…

With sword being a choice for overload champ, id like to suggest stronghold and heavy sword on Solar subclass with empyrean to extend that resto x2

For titan mains that don't want to use a warlock: use precious scars for similar (but weaker resto) effect.
