The SOFI story reminds me a lot of AMD when I got into that back in about 2015 IIRC. Single digit stock price for AMD. With these once in a decade growth stories, lots of people see it early, and the big boys see it early too, but it won’t go up in a straight line. There’s TONS of volatility on the way up, FUD and manipulation/volatility and shorting at every step of the way, but in the long run fundamentals win out. As you all mentioned the other day, lots of retail is demoralized with the stock price pop and drop after the first profitable earnings. That’s exactly what the big boys want. Buy, hold, tune out the noise. It won’t go up in a straight line. They will pump and dump and short and accumulate and make the most money possible on the way up. Hold. The story hasn’t changed at all. This is a long term play like your guest said. Hold and grow rich. They can’t hold it down forever. Institutional ownership will ramp up over the next 2 years now that profitability is being established going forward. I won’t make the same mistake as I did selling all my AMD in the 20’s when I got tired and yes, demoralized, of the volatility 😂😂😂
Cheers and GLTA.
Agreed 🎉
At present, the most prudent consideration for everyone should be diversifying their income sources, ones not reliant on government support, particularly given the ongoing global economic challenges. This remains an opportune moment to explore investments in assets like digital currencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP, thanks to Flora Elkin for her guidance in these fields her proficiency is outstanding
I've just looked up her full name on my browser and found her webpage without sweat, very much appreciate this
It's unexpected to come across her name here. She understands every beginner’s intention and fix you to a trading course that matches your capacity, she knows her stuff! Her advice has been invaluable to my trading journey. Definitely worth giving a shot!
It is really refreshing to see a comment about Flora Elkin.I have worked with her also for months now, reached out after reading more about her on the internet. she simplifies matters, whether it's a market surge or drop; her approach consistently keeps you ahead of the trend, She's a guru i'll say
Investing has proven to be an incredibly beneficial decision. My cryptocurrency profits continue to play a substantial role in growing my overall wealth, reducing my reliance on my salary
Nice to see this here, Flora Elkin's understanding of market indicators is impressive. She knows exactly when to enter and exit trades for maximum profit. her siignals are top notch
Tannor - Ahan and other guests have turned your channel into an important and entertaining fintech resource. Damn, there are some really intelligent people in the world!
Great stuff love the ending.
Great discussion. Thx 🙏 for inviting him to the show.
What a wonderful interveiw.
I hope is back on the channel again
Great Video. Learned a lot. Thanks!
SOFI added Dana Green to the Board. She is a 32 year employee of the Federal Reserve Bank as a supervisor of banks. She go a long way in discounting negative comments by some analysts regarding SOFI’s revenue recognition policies.
Good job Ahan. Thanks for your time. Hope to see u again!
Keep up the great work Tannor
This was great content

Great talk. Thank you Tannor.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very smart guy, loved this guest
Excellent discussion. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I liked the video and i like the sofi stock.
Enjoyed that 🍻
Thanks Tannor! Would it be interesting to have older analysts with other mental models? Is there any bias in the young age of Sofi analysts?
Big banks can't be customer focused because of their dividends. They are more investor focused but that will lead to their demise. This is easily a 10+ year hold. Reevaluate this stock every quarter to ensure they hit their metrics.
yay! sofi will becoming !
Good video, im also big on sofi ans paypal, im curious what your thoughts are on Snap and if you think the selloff was justified.
how do you evaluate the risk on Sofis „fair value" loan balancing compared to the CECL standard?
I like the stock.
I love my SoFi Savings account. Great interest accrual and there are no limits on debits/credits like most Savings accounts. This is the ideal situation for liquidity and utility. 💵💵
Sofi share price has a 88% correlation to Fannie Mae refinance application index ! Have you looked at this ?
Sofi stock is cheep, it’s unbelievable that we still can buy it at these prices 😂 those who don’t take advantage should reconsider their life choices lol
I will be returning to this comment on 1 year. Good luck 🤓
Yup
Come back 2027 🎉@@Greavuz
Great video! What is your opinion about Bank Term Funding Program set to expire March 11, 2024? Will it hit the stock again?
It may hit stock price, but it won't hit the company, if anything it will benefit the company
There be another bailout by the Fed for the banks, though the stock is gonna take a hit short term. I'm gonna take advantage when that happens and buy another 100 shares.
Me Strongman...... me no likey SOFI. Strongman smash, but Strongman won't short the stock.
strongman is accountant and has job unlike Tannor who is scammer. strongman smash but no brain cell
The random sip from Celsius. Really?? 😅
It’s just another bank!!! What’s so different about this and other banks!
I made $1300 in interest in 2023. TD bank who I was with for decades I would have not made anything. I have much better ATM network to withdraw cash. One of the reasons I left TD. Having my credit card, banking and investments all in the 1 spot has really simplified things for me. I love the vaults SOFI has where I can group my savings into categories like vacation, home remodel, future car down payment. I can see my credit score and the breakdown of the individual components of it. The social aspect of the invest platform. The customized news stream. No fees. Overdraft protection. Etc…..
How is sofi money a cash cow wheb sofi interest expense is about 5.89 percent of its total deposit.I do not see thst sofi money earnings is higher than this percentage
They save in other areas of the business because it captures more members and market share and are able to cross sell other products.
Thanks a lot for producing very informative videos. Just one thing please.... Seriously... length of your video is way too long and makes me not to watch what you gotta say. It will be much better if you can divide the video length and post 3 to 4 separate ones instead of just on 50 mins. one.
Why can't you watch this video over 3 - 4 sessions? RUclips will save where you were in the video
I wonder how he calculated his WACC for his fair value
I'm not sure about sofi long term. I think it will drop further before it goes up. I'll stick to SCHD.
You are not sure about a profitable growth stock company long term and you can predict stock prices, wow you got me convinced there buddy 🤣
SOFI biggest threat is a recession in the near future. All recession start in the financial sector where liquidity dries up due to bad loans.
Time will tell.
He is wrong about job losses and downward revisions. Last week, they revised job up along with smashing Jan. 24 job numbers. The economy created over 600,000 jobs in 2 months - Jan and Dec.
Those were mainly part time jobs, people have to work multiple gigs just to make ends meet.
You need to get Ahan on more often…wow
He's a smart man
This year Sofi stock will get impacted by the problems with regional banks. It will go below 7 before things pick up.
Sofi wont be impacted by regional bank problems, but its stock will. Investors will then surely see that sofi is not just a bank and surely not a legacy bank.
Come on. So much pumping. I am long but the largest profit machine??
You confused sofi and Nubank
You guys still pumping this shitbag stock? Last November we all have plenty of beaten down stocks to choose from.
I got in SQ at $40. Got in STNE at $10. PAGS at $9. DOCU at $45.
You guys bought PYPL and SOFI.
I also own SQ & STNE
