This video is underrated! Excellent tips here, thank you Bruddah 🙏
Glad you mentioned the note about using carabiners when the cables are up. It doesn’t take long to clip/unclip and a fall would be maybe 20ft or so. When cables are up I have also seen the use of a single carabiner but with a Prusik knot. It’s a bit of a longer process but the advantage is that assuming you have tied it correctly, if you slip you won’t slide far. And since one can anchor themselves on the wooden slat at the pole junction, there is little risk of falling during the few seconds you’re not technically clipped in.
At the end of the day there is a spectrum of safety measures, and you just have to determine where on the spectrum you feel comfortable in case there were to be a sudden weather change, or potential hazard from above you.
My recommendation would be to wear a harness and have at least one carabiner with prusik just in case Murphy’s law kicks in when the cables are up, and for when the cables are down definitely have the harness and two carabiners with prusiks.
    Curious why you prefer Klemheist?
