Kay, I hope you can continue to not be critical of your career choices. Life would be very hard without to get through without the beauty and joy of arts and music because it nourishes our souls. And, as far as the organizing part of your career, having organized spaces helps make the everyday utilitarian and drudge tasks be more efficient, while looking aesthetically pleasing. So, that too can bring joy to a mundane part of our lives.
Genmaicha ; when i saw Martin Yan of Yan Can Cook at a home & patio show 35 or more years ago ; he taught us about that. Bonus ; if you scorch your rice ; put water on it and use that water to make tea.
✨🍵✨Hey Kay. I drink green toasted rice tea when I have an upset stomach and can’t eat but feeling hungry. An Asian coworker years ago told me about it and I still use it for that purpose. I don’t drink it outside of that. Blessings. ✨🍵✨
I’m not the only one w ho cleans the inside of my vacuum. Nice to know! I would suggest an air purifier for the basement for a bit. Change the filter after the first few days if it looks bad. Clean Air….so important especially for your voice.
Loved this because it was just hangin' out. I guess I'll never cease to be amazed at how similar our lives are. LITERALLY yesterday I was talking to someone about living out the legacy of my dad because of how he treated/treats others. He's 90 now and I don't know how much longer he'll be around, but I definitely learned how to "people" from him. This year has FLOWN by, but I'm so grateful that I wasn't afraid to get back into school to FINISH what I began and what had been left dormant for over 20 years. It's been such a challenge, but moreover, such a rewarding experience, and I honestly don't know if I would have wanted to do it differently. Sure, I'd LOVE to have more time to just focus on studying and learning, but the person I am today appreciates and understands what I'm learning so much more than 20 year old me did. Okay, to answer your questions, 1. I disassemble and clean my vacuum because I want dirt to PASS THROUGH it, not live there 2. The camera on the floor was fine (better) 3. We enjoy you being you. (you didn't ask this) 4. Clover is the cutest (also not a question) 5. definitely my sister from another mister. No worries about vlog days or times. We all have busy lives and we get it. Sometimes life doesn't allow the amount of time we would like for certain things, and the world just keeps on spinning anyway. 6. This is CRAZY long, but you know your long-winded viewer! LOL!!! Have a great evening and thanks for sharing your day and 2024 reflections with us.
Genmaicha is a popular Japanese tea. 🍵 Its history is pretty interesting, too! It is a tea made to be more hearty and less expensive. A tea of the people, lol.
Yup grass is exactly what comes to mind and why I don't drink any teas. lol Now coffee on the other hand... ☕ (and it has to be a cold coffee, I always burn my mouth on hot lol)
Oh that tea-- I’ve had a rice tea (not that one) and it was so gross I spit it out. It tasted like burnt popcorn. The pack was free with a purchase of matcha. Guess no one bought it the company started giving it away lol. Are you sure you can’t save the plants?? I’m 45 and still trying to figure out what my purpose is in life. I just love to make people laugh. I’m such a clown and have no shame. But I can’t make a living out of it 😂 If I think about it too much though it’s kinda sad. Like what am I meant to do yet can make a career out of it too? I can’t work this comfortable, secure desk job forever!? My husband is a Taurus too like you. You aren’t risk takers at all! You like security and being comfortable. Nothing wrong with that but yes he complains about being bored too. Haha chores on the floor- I’m 6’ so I have a hard time getting up! Feeling old. 🤣 Love Survivor but I miss the Amazing Race! Love that show!!! Bathroom is gorgeous! 😍😍 2024 was stressful for me personally. I’m sooo looking forward to 2025!! Hoping to save up enough to move to another home for the umpteenth time. It’s been a few years since our new build in 2018 and since 2020 the economy, interest rates prices of homes almost doubled so it’s been a challenge. Gotta move my parents too so that’s a double challenge. Hoping 2025 is the year! Sorry I’m very chatty! 😂
I did some cleaning today and my husband is a way worse packrat (I know it's not a competition but if you could just see it... LOL) and I was dusting his console game racks that hold countless video games... the dust was UNREAL. Microfiber ftw.
Insurance cover cleaning company to come and wash walls and things - everything in basement they’ll remove things from shelves and clean. I know u are great cleaning but delegate :). ❤
Our lives weirdly keep overlapping, I literally just cleaned the roller brush on my vac last night, I had to cut all my long hair off of it. I really want one of those fancy new Dysons that Melissa uses that just sucks the hair up instead of tangling but I am not made of 💰😆. When I got my Shark several years ago after having 2 pet Dysons prior I was actually impressed with the bang for your buck (and now I never want a vac that doesn't have a light on the front, omg what you can see with that is terrifying).
I have the same sweater : hello kitty and Care Bears one. 🥹 speaking about your dad. Pipe cleaners are great from cleaning difficult areas to metal straws. Downstairs looks better.

Music is so important. Don't you dare think what you do isn't an essential element in the quality of people's lives and happiness!
I have never been bored watching any of your videos.
Your dad lives on inside you. Love you Kay 💜

Have them replace your carpet
Popcorn tea?! 😮 Well, I'll be! 😅 Yes, 2024 has been an interesting year. I am looking forward to a productively blessed 2025 for us all! Tfs 😊

There needs must be Beauty in the world, and your singing adds to it wonderfully❤
I can't wait to see you rock some braids😊
Who doesn’t clean a dirt reservoir? ❤
It's popped rice ; tastes nutty to me.
Kay: finds a sock on a doorknob, "I'm not opening that."
Me: Good choice!
