DOUBLE HEADED HUDSON R CLASS TO BENDIGO.wmv

THE R CLASS STEAM LOCOS WERE BUILT IN ENGLAND IN THE 1950'S AND TRANSPORTED TO VICTORIA AUSTRALIA. THEY WERE USED AS FAST EXPRESS LOCOS FOR PASSENGER SERVICE THROUGHOUT VICTORIA.
SOME OF THE CLASS WERE SAVED AND PRESERVED BY STEAMRAIL VICTORIA FOR SPECIAL TRIPS FOR ALL TO ENJOY .

A Steam Locomotive is like a person, they have their own individual character,and come to life when fired up. Nothing can beat these Majestic Machines, when in motion on the rails. The smell of Steam, is something you can not forget.

Thanks for your comment. I certainly agree with you. I go on as many of these steam trips as I can, the time will come when we will not enjoy the sounds & smell of these great machines.
