Thank you ma'am for the detailed analysis. One thing I am unsure of. Is this a computer based test like NEET PG or a OMR sheet based test? I sat MRCP Part-1 unsuccessfully in 2019. The preparation resources were all online. But the main exam was OMR sheet based, which was a real shocker. I attribute my failure partly to this, more so because there was no mention about this pencil and paper test anywhere. So I am sceptical about the actual MRCS part-A exam format. Please guide ma'am
If you are sure about taking surgery as your speciality then you can give MRCS post internship. Doing PG in India has its own merits. The hands on experience and exposure is unparalleled. Hence my opinion would be to do MS from a government medical college in India and crack MRCS simultaneously.
Ma'am can we get Fy2 or ST-level jobs through MRCS if someone hasn't that much experience. Like I have just done my MBBS and now want to appear in the MRCS exam during my house job.
Along with the exam result, you need to have an impressive CV ( portfolio). With this you can apply for CT level non training jobs. After working in the NHS for 6-12m you can apply for CT or ST training jobs once all the competencies are met.
Hi mam, What textbook should i use for second paper of MRCS part A. Being an orthopaedic surgeon i havent gone through a surgery text book for a really long time
Revision books part A and part B by pastest is all you need to revise surgery for paper 2. Links to all the resources is provided in the description section of this video.
Ma'am will an aadhar/voter id/pan card do? I am having an issue with my passport due to which it is on hold in the regional passport office. Was planning for may session.
MRCS part A and part B syllabus includes general surgery and orthopaedics. There are FRCS exams for respective specialist subjects. For example FRCS (Plast)for plastic surgery.A candidate must meet a set of eligibility criteria to be able to sit the FRCS exam.

There is no option for middle name on the application but my Passport ID has a middle name, I hope it's not an issue?
You could part your first name and middle name together.
Ma'am will an aadhar/voter id/pan card do? I am having an issue with my passport due to which it is on hold in the regional passport office. Was planning for may session.
Also is emrcs better than pastest?
Passport is necessary.
In my exam centre they asked for both Aadhar card and passport.
Pan and voter id not recognised.
@@arjunchakraborty1197pastest is very extensive. Emrcs on the other hand is to the point and representative of the real exam.
Thank you Maam!!
@synapse8990 ma'am is a driver's licence allowed instead of a passport? The rcs England webpage says so but in reality do they accept it?
