Looooove how this ONE SCENE is a recall on all of the hardworking, undervalued, abused Disney Princesses before her. THIS is what Disney should have done if they wanted a shout out to their history!!❤
It also points out the current world issues- that working hard is no longer the guaranteed to get you anywhere, and other people know it! Friends showing your worth? Bosses being greedy? Yesssss modernism!
I really like the friendship of Alicia and Beatriz. and the fact that she is Delgado's personal errand only to earn more money for her family is a very nice sacrifice for someone who doesn't treat her well. and the fact that she is so cute with the animals reminds me a lot of classic princesses!
Oh yes! As I watched her chat with the horse and just how she is with Dominic I knew she's a Disney princess through and through. Plus like most of them Rhapsody and her team let us see her struggles and life and get us to root for her

I love that there's already a parallel between Alicia and Aster, and I can't wait to see their relationship bloom on screen.

I almost thought Delgado was a somewhat reasonable guy, but boy was I wrong. I mean, he kind of had the right to be upset in part three because of the mess and the setbacks, and he easily could have fired her just for that, but I see he really just didn't want to throw away his errand girl.
When i saw the star in the sky, i thought "There's your future boyfriend, Alicia!" 😍💗

I am loving all the references and inspiration used here. It's subtle and is feels like a nod without being in your face. It’s honoring classic Disney while still feeling like it's own unique thing. Everyone who worked on this is doing amazing work.
Delgado really is the type of guy you want to see getting what's coming to him. Love the progression of these animatics. The characters are all great!

funny enough, this actually happened to me.
Although it was morning, I was hanging laundry on the fence, and right over my grandparents' house was a large star.
The sky was pure blue, and there were a few clouds in the sky, but none where the star was.
It was shining just like the wishing star, actually. I remember being absolutely frozen in the spot as I marveled at the sight.
I think it lasted for 30 minutes, I had went inside to do something, but when I came back outside (probably cause it got too bright) but the star wasn’t visible afterward.
The ANIMATION has only gotten better. These people are working so hard for this.
Delgado reminds me of Cinderela's step-mother, specially in 1:13

This was so magical! I love Alicia and Beatrice's friendship, and also Alicia seening a friend in her coworkers, horse and star, life and value in everything. She's like this kind of dreamer that uses imagination to be more compassionate and that's admirable. Also, she's a strong hardworker and that shows how she can do sacrifices for her family. Oh, she's such lovely and kind protagonist!
Animation gets better and better too. Scene where Alicia saw Star was enchanting to watch ✨️🖤

I love seeing all the little callbacks to classic Disney movies without it feeling like they are just shoved in our face like "see we made that movie too" you did it in a way that makes it feel natural and it just flows I really am so exited to see this finished
I love Alicia being so nice and kind to the horsies! And the horse's side glare at the guy when he shows up!

Real world problems and work frustrations followed by the appearance of a Star that reminds us this is a fantasy and something extraordinary is about to happen to our lovable and relatable leading lady! These installments just keep getting better! :) Excellent!
OOOOOUGH THE SCENE WITH THE STAR WAS SO WELL DONE I love the idea of aster being almost a chekovs gun rather than just Appearing in this wish out of the blue it’s so much better!! Gives more impact! Love just having all this time to get to know Alicia as a character and see her life without it IMMEDIATELY being tied into the kingdom or the king!! Just. A. Ily Alicia rewrite its very very good as always 💜💜💜

ok the fact how Alicia looks up at the only star in a dark sky and says "me too" is just loaded with symbolism and foreshadows the future plot! HOWW?????

It’s always a treat when Seneor Delgado’s on screen, he’s such a scummy piece of sh*t and I love it!!!!!! He is a fantastic smaller scale antagonist, reminds me of the Stepsisters from Cinderella.
Living for all those little details on his wall. Is he shaking the king’s hand at 1:30? Interesting!!!
1:52 - 2:26 - This scene shows a lot about Alica’s character and the struggles she goes through. Also a fantastic moment between her and Beatrice.
I’ve said before and I’ll say it again, it’s really awesome how you make it feel like a classic Disney movie but mixed with modern struggles.
2:29 & 3:18 - Damm the background looks SO good!!!! Really sells that it’s later in the day!
I really love the casual banter about food, makes the world feel more alive and real.

I'm loving this storyboard. If you don't mind, I do have some feedback. I mentioned in part 2 that I personally think Alicia's more detailed picture from the start was my favorite appearance for her. I couldn't keep my eyes off her.
Wow, those other maidens are cowards. I don't blame them for being scared but I was hoping they, or at least Beatrice would offer to help clean even though she didn't have to. That's being an awesome friend. Delgado is kind of annoying, but I would imagine he would sound better with an older man with more experience, and of course, this is a work in progress.
2:02; careful with your advice Beatrice, if she stands up to him she'll get fired for sure. She should only do that if she's ready for a change of pace. I'm not insulting your work, this is just my thoughts. You're doing great.
Everyone, judging by the ending, we shall see the king and queen in part 5.

Beautiful, I am so happy to see how this is going, though i'll admit I baited myself a bit expecting a song after she looked at the star initally. Whether or not there is one in final product, this whole sequence was great as is.

Hey Pinkie Machine studios love your story so far. If you were doing the real movie of Walt Disney animation studios I feel like Senor Delgado would be voiced by Alan Tudyk in my opinion cause I could hear the accent from him.

WOW. Her boss is a JERK! Seriously, Delgado couldn't be more of an !@#$%^&* if he TRIED! REALLY giving me Lady Tremain Vibes with how he's just making Alicia do EVERYTHING! Also, love how Alicia is good with animals, and how Beatrice is a good friend and makes sure Alicia remembers to take care of herself and agrees to save food for her. And that shot of the lone star in the sky (Which will, in all likelihood, turn out to be Aster, the Star Child,) was just BEAUTIFUL.
I’m already totally obsessed! You’re writing is so charming, the art is beautiful, voice acting is great, and the overall concept of the story has me completely hooked. I’m thrilled to see where you’re gonna take this next, especially when Aster arrives on the scene! ❤❤❤
