Use to do this when I was a kid, kinda forgot how. Might as well start again during this quarantine. 😩
I did this in Girl Scouts with that plastic cord stuff, found some in my house and am doing the exact same thing

I bought a kit to make this with plastic string about 15 yrs ago didn't understand the instructions so it's been sitting in my drawer .I found your video and it's very understandable.I bought the kit because girls scouts thaught me how to make in elementary school but forgot how to make them.Thank you so much for the tutorial

Beadaholique no problem
Like many others commented, I used to do this as kid at summer camp with bright coloured vinyl lacing we called “gimp.” I only wish we’d learned to add beads.

I first learned to do this "box weave" at summer camp when I was about 8 years old. It was a thrill then, and still is.
