      @stevehaddock2070 Год назад +2

      @@billsenior213 Hi Bill, yes I have, every 50,000 KM or 30,000 miles. Dealer recommends every 100,000 km. I have spoken to many different mechanics and they have said to do it at half the time of the manufactures recommendation. They say that this fluid gets hot and breaks down which could reduce the life span of the CVT. I also run Motul synthetic motor oil and change all the gear oil on a regular basis. My experience with Japanese manufactures is to keep up good to better fluid changes. I do have to add that my mileage is mostly a highway commute so my car doesn't run hot in stop and go traffic and that will be a killer on any car. I'm at 260,000 KM's now and still no issues.

    Still love the car because the issues that it has are extremely minor and not too costly. An odd thing that happened to my 2012 murano was the dash cracking which I had never really heard about on "newer nissans". Another thing is that it is a very finely tuned car and it cant hardly tow anything or it will ruin the transmission. Zero transmission issues fore though.

    I disagree . My 2020 Murano SL AWD saved my wife’s and my lives . We were in a head on crash last Sept , and never realized how many air bags it had . I suffered a fractured neck at the C2 level , which did require surgery in Jan. Our outcome could have been much worse , I might not be here . So I bought a 2022 SL AWD , wanted a Platinum . Nissan halted production due to parts chain issues . So yeah , buy a Murano !

That's why I like a murano since 2003 the 3.5 engine is proven to be bullet proof. Nissan put this engine in most of it's vehicles for years! For me, it's not about how fast the car can go, no not at all, it's all about going from from point A to point B in comfort, and that's all what the cars was invented for.

    These car dealers are so crooked!!!
    We bought a Nissan too and they just happen to neglect to tell you that the map software is 2017 & there are no later versions plus no ETA!!
    Also, the car, 2022, was never gone over before the sale like we were told it was & the audio/visual system was so messed up it took 4 dealerships to fix it and that required a factory reset. PLUS, these dealers refused to give us invoices so we wouldn't have evidence against, which was illegal. In fact they committed consumer fraud when they didn't disclose about the GPS & lied about checking the car out. Oh, & the tires were over inflated too. Plus, if you have someone else work on the car (like who is maybe honest!) then you have to keep super good records & only use Nissan parts or it could invalidate your warranty.
    Our qualifies under the lemon law but we know 2 other ppl with problems and Toyota & Ford are trying to screw them too!
    These ppl are such liars, I don't know how they sleep at night!!

I had to get 3 estimates from Nissan certified auto body shops, all 3 stated factory defect in the paint. On 11/ 22/2023 a representative from Nissan called me and said Nissan was unable to give any financial assistance for my paint complaint. I asked the reason for their decision, she just repeated that Nissan isn’t able to help financially with my complaint. I asked if they would send me the decision in writing or to my email, she told me Nissan doesn’t give written decisions to customers they just canceled my case . Chile plz that's miner stuff that can be fixed now the sunroof is another thing but as far as coolant leaking u can take that to a local mechanic n they can figure that out ! I swear people with money don't see that it's people out there that wish they could have a car like that and y'all complain about the most smallest things ....u know how many cars that are old as hell that run on leaking oil n coolant lmaooooooo and u have this new nice Nissan and u complaint about some dam coolant leak I'm sorry but stop it and just get it fixed lol ...there as so many like 2nd hand mechanics out there that could help u ...like u don't have to go to the dealer for everything like dam lmaooooo...I got a 2012 Murano sl and it runs great no leaks or anything ...but if my starts to leak coolant I automatically know it's either the coolant lines have a leak or I need a new radiator! Those are the only two things that can leak coolant ...the lines or the radiator and I'm a girl n I know that ....just saying lmaooooo

    You could've easily added some paint protection film to help with the chips.
    6000 mile oil change is too long.
