Don't give up on these vids, great work, maybe try a tripod - would be less movement of the camera which at some point can give eye tiredness. I don't use tripod in race weekends, but, in a controlled environment as your shop, maybe could help. #kudos
Hi guys. I really like your videos. I have a question that keeps bothering me. I pressume that this particular bmw comes with super light carbon fibre wheels. The question is, why are you swapping them for the OZ ones (which I presume are cattiva or piega r series rims)? Is it because of the racing series regulations? If yes, why are carbon fibre wheel banned in some, if not most of the racing series? Thanks and keep up the great work!
We are keeping the carbon wheels, but they will be used for rain. For all professional series, alloy wheels must be used. We feel that should be revisited, but this is up to governing bodies and the FIM sets the base standard.
@@SuperbikeUnlimited Is it because of the safety concerns. All the carbon firbre wheel manufacturers these days claim that the carbon fibre rims are now stronger and more robust than alloy wheels. What is it like with keeping a temperature in the tyres while using carbon wheels? Correct me if I am wrong, but I dont think that carbon fibre is a good heat conductor hence on a cold and windy day it does not decipate the heat into the tyre so it could be harder to keep the tyres at the correct operating temperature. On the other hand, if BMW fits them now as a part of the M package, this means they must be safe and fit for the purpose.
Aero getting his camera bomb in there! Good doggie!
You are living my dream bro👍🏻
