The next is the white SG Junior 63, I made 2 different SG with the same Epiphone G-310. Neck for the SG Special, and body for the SG Jr ;) After that I don't know, probably an Explorer. I like the Les Paul style, but I really dislike play them, so not a Les Paul ;)

Gibson uses veneer and lots of it...Gibson's semi-hollowbodies like the ES-335 and ES-339 have tops and backs constructed of layers (either 3 or 4) of maple veneer. My understanding is that the veneers are assembled in successive cross-grain layers with the top layer having its grain longitudinal to the length of the guitar. The tops and backs are approximately 1/4" in thickness after layup.

I made it for myself, I can't compete with Gibson on that.
The Junior only need paint, but with the cold weather, I can't paint in good conditions. I did it last summer, but it was too hot and the paint wasn't able to dry. And I wasn't sure I had enough white can to paint it, If I saw the white primer or if the paint was all over the guitar I mean.
So next try when the spring comming

Why not relocate neck deep in the body along with the P90's like an ESP/LTD guitar? . Neck joint would be stronger and make it feel like a Fender guitar, I mean, everything balanced. I love your work but SG's are not my faves .... only Specials with P90's. By the way, I got an SG-style guitar (LTD) and is balanced ... even with 24 frets !!!

    • @Guiohms.m50
