3 years after watching A place further than the universe this song still makes shed tears. I think this is still the only 10/10 anime that I have ever watched.
During my youth I also did crazy things. I love dragging my friends to places we've never been to. I skip school, book a plane ticket, go somewhere far then go back home before dinner as if nothing happened. Like my parents thought I'm from school but actually I've been 2,000km away exploring places that are new to me. 😂 This anime, somehow reminded of the excitement I felt during my youth doing crazy things. I thank Shirase-chan a lot for taking me on this Antarctic trip and reminding me the joy of my youthful time. I'd love this anime forever.
I had that dream in the past, but I felt it was just a "dream". But this anime really gave me motivation. And I went into a trip irl ironically. Someone invited me two days after watching this show. And I remember I had that same smile the girls had on the end of episode 1 :)
Sora Yori changed me. it made me rethink what i was doing with my life and inspired me to revisit Iceland. Never before has any piece of media made me put my head in my hands and sob. YoriMori did something to me that i can;t quite explain but i see it as a genuine blessing that helped me through a difficult time and is still a series i go back to and listen to and watch. A place further than the universe is the only 11/10 i have ever given. Bless you Sora Yori and bless the fans of it too. Words cannot express how much i love this anime
That feeling got me too. Masterpiece is little to describe this show. I really will never forget how special and dearest this title was for me. I still remember it every day.
This is perfectly synced, especially since it's got to be difficult to set an AMV to the show's own end credit song even BEFORE taking into account its use in the final scenes of episode 13. Even with that difficulty, though, you've perfectly captured the essence of the show and found just the right times to use each moment. It's fantastic!
I'm 25 years old and I felt a bit like Kimari, I've always been a bit hesitant to try to go and travel on my own. In all honesty, watching this 10/10 show and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (highly recommend it btw if you like this show) inspired me to go and solo travel in Europe this January. Can't wait to see the Northern Lights in Norway!
I just completed watching all 13 eps yesterday and the final scene got me tearing up, feeling the blues afterwards haha. Watching this video reminds me that there is no other anime done as impactful as Sora yori mo Tooi Basho. I will miss the girls after the 13th episode once they got back to Japan. Thanks man, what an awesome edit :')
You know, after I finished watching this anime, I received a call from someone who invited me on a trip. I immediately accepted the invitation, and it got me thinking if somehow the anime affected that situation. I'll never forget this anime, that's the only thing I surely know. I recommend you to travel too. Who knows what lies upon the next corner of the world... or even a place further than the universe. :)
