I finally understand now when I hear from students who have studied at Tarim, about how special it is to be in the presence of a Habib. I attended lectures and a mawlid by Habib Muhammad recently and all I wanted to do was to follow him around to observe his manner. He had so much positive presence that was contagious. Simply being near him caused an inspirational love and longing to meet our beloved Prophet ﷺ.
