Wonderful talk my sister!!! I was in lit class in high school with many who couldn't articulate a point, couldn't talk in front of a group, etc. like this young girl has. Child abuse is lying to your own child about a magical elf that comes down the chimney (even in apartments) or dressing a baby up as the very evil spirit who spit in God's face in the garden. Lets gain some clarity here. This was a wonderful talk by a sweet girl!

The fact is that this child will not admit as she grows older that she is scared to death of demons haunting her, and the mention of holidays make her think that she may become demon possessed if she sticks around for a pink pagan cupcake. She will not admit that she shakes and trembles during thunder storms, terrified that Armageddon is here and she will watch her teacher catch fire, and burn alive in a massive human barbeque. She does not admit that she really prefers to stay home and just play; play with her Barbie's and toys. I didn't admit it either when I was her age. Decades later, I'm able to piece together the mess that the Watchtower Society made out of my mind as a young girl; And anyone who was born and raised in it knows exactly what I'm talking about. You feared everything. You were terrified and started sweating walking up to the doors, hoping your friends wouldn't answer and laugh at you. The best part of the book study was the cookies afterward, and the ride home. I knew this was ok to lie because I was lying for Jehovah... or so the Watchtower manipulated me into thinking. Your children are missing their childhoods. When you ask them the next time if they would rather go to the movies or to the meeting, watch their face. Stop lying to yourselves, thinking your child is loving being a JW. But seriously, start watching your children's faces. Icecream after service is what they look forward to. Not knocking on doors. And you don't need Watchtower for Jesus to know you. John 10:27-30 may be the single most important thing that you'll ever learn about Jesus. Read it. Read it to your kids. Look in a different bible and start comparing all of the changed scriptures in your bible. Study God's "grace" in any other bible, because it was completely removed from yours. And I find it amazing that the very same people posting hurtful comments about us are the very same ones doing so here. I don't give them the satisfication of acknowledging them or commenting. I just pray for them as I block them from my page and delete their comment. Keep doing what we know is right. Instead of commenting on how well the kids do they'd rather bash! Forgive them Father. Some of the remarks are the very reason why I am reluctant to put up any video, however positive the content. Realistically, time will tell who and what was or was not 'correct' and true. I understand why you call it child abuse, but another perspective if you look at it is a very young child is learning good study habits which is the number one reason why our children are failing; most of them lack study habits. I believe people have to be taught how to learn. Study and repetition is a good way to remember and practice is the way to understand how it works. I saw both things at play in this video. I understand why you call it child abuse, but another perspective if you look at it is a very young child is learning good study habits which is the number one reason why our children are failing; most of them lack study habits. I believe people have to be taught how to learn. Study and repetition is a good way to remember and practice is the way to understand how it works. I saw both things at play in this video. Just one way to look at it.

Well, just because I'm an atheist doesn't mean I only believe in the big bang. I simply don't believe in a "creator". Everyone has their own theories on the beginning of life, except mine don't include a God.
And anyway, if that's what you believe in, so be it.
There is no need to argue if no ones beliefs are being attacked.
