😅Maths is both weird and wonderful. If we say eg “1/2 of 30”, it’s the same as saying “1/2 multiplied by 30” (or “30 multiplied by 1/2”) and the answer is 15. But if we use a fraction and the word “divide”, eg 30 divided by 1/2, it’s going the other way and it’s the same as multiplying by 2.
Calling you out on Answer #4. If a tree falls in a forest it makes a sound wave, but a sound wave is not a SOUND unless somebody HEARS it, so the correct answer is No.

30÷(1/2)=30×(2/1)=30×2=60
60+10=70
The trick is in the wording. It does not say "divide 30 in half", it says "by half."
