The Sahara is known for its arid climate and vast sand dunes, while polar scapes are typically icy and snowy.
You need to change how the questions are worded, or a different question. 1) CO2 doesn't cause global warming. 2) Lack of iron in the diet causes anemia.
Your answer to the first question is not totally correct. You said there are only nine zeroes in one billion. Yes, in the American Numbering System, one billion is written as one followed by nine zeroes. But, this is not so in the case of the British Numbering System where one billion is written as one followed by twelve zeroes. This was the fact which you ignored. IMRAN AKHTAR 18 March 2024 (Monday) 5:24 PM (Indian Standard Time) Lucknow
I believe you are correct that used to be the case, but: 'The UK government and most media outlets in the UK have switched to using the short scale since 1974, so unless you're encountering older texts or specific contexts that use the long scale, a billion will have nine zeros.' I think it demonstrates the cultural power of the US, that the UK changed to the US convention, as I recall.

Is harmonica different from harmonika
Is Nelson Mandala the same guy as Nelson Mandela? They botched the spelling at 1:25.
when typing into the search line, one gets a pic of both instruments.
One spelling though is BRITISH English.
One is AMERICAN Englisch.
And it depends also what nationality you are. For me as an AUSTRIAN, in my native language, both answers or replies in the search would be wrong.
@@Rick-S-6063 No, they got it right. Too bad Mandela wasnt the first man on the moon. Then all these 'men didnt go to the moon' conspiracy nuts would shut up for fear of being called racist
Harmonika = accordion with bellows and keys?
@@kbittorf335 Harmonica is also Accordion?
45/50 for me. I found this quiz fairly easy, missing only 5 questions. I thought the UK was the largest European Union country not Germany. I agree with a few comments that a 10 second time limit is a bit too long for the answers.
Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your score! Great job on getting 45/50! The UK is indeed one of the largest countries in Europe, but Germany holds the title for the largest population within the European Union. I appreciate your input on the time limit as well; I'll definitely consider shortening it for future quizzes. Stay tuned for more challenging content!
I think the real question is “What IS the most populated country in the country” 😂
You noticed that too, We'll forgive her.
It should be "what is the most populated country in the WORLD", not "country"!
Ans: The countryside!
Nice entertaining quiz. I got 49/50. Thank you so much for posting this rather enjoyable quiz.
Great job, Paul Anthony! ❤️😊👍
Thank you for taking the quiz. Glad you enjoyed it.
Australia is a continent not an island
It's both.
Of course Tasmania
I'm Australian, and have been told that Australia is all 3 - an island, a country and a continent.
@@tracyerskine7029 Indeed, it self-evidently is.
44/50. I really enjoyed this quiz as it tested my general knowledge 2 the full. I only wish there had been 100 questions.
@Barry, congratulations on your impressive score of 44/50! 🎉 I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed the quiz and found it challenging. Your feedback is invaluable, and I'll definitely consider creating a longer quiz with more questions in the future. Thanks for participating and sharing your thoughts!
10 seconds is too long .
Your right ten seconds is too long. You either know the answer or you don’t.
Too long
True😊
Not if you’re from the USA. Ignorance is bliss, that’s why you see so many citizens with smug smiles. 10 minutes wouldn’t be long enough for them or their leader Sarah Palin who thinks Africa is a country😳
You are absolute right
I got 41 correct but I learned new ones. Thank you❤
That's fantastic! 41 is impressive, and I'm so happy you could pick up some new ones too. Keep up the awesome work! ❤😊👍
50/50! 🧑🎓
Excellent job! Keep up the good work! 💯❤️👍

No man has ever walked on the moon
However, China is right now trying to sneak one in on the dark side. Unmanned mission - my a**.
Exactly. Jealous, tantrum-throwing Americans used their Hollywood skills to beat the Russians, and forgot about the flag flapping in the wind, and the length of the horizon.
Daaaa😂
Have you been living in cave?
Even driving on the Moon.
Fun test, the test should keep track of our score
Glad you enjoyed the test! I agree, keeping track of scores would be a great feature. I’ll definitely consider adding it for future updates. Thanks for the feedback!
49 ot of 50😂 easy enough... i am completing my masters now ... but... my 6th grade gk exam was tougher than this... if you live in india... gk exams are worst nightmares...
what does gk stand for? 🤔
Please, does anyone know the name of the beautiful music that is playing during the test?

Only in USA a Billion has 9 zeros. In the rest of the world is 12 zeros. One million of Millions.
Try again Einstein. A billion is a thousand million, 9 zeros, 12 zeros is a trillion
I think someone needs to count again . if you put the number one before nine zero what number do you have ?
The UK adopted the US convention in the 70s. (a billion =a thousand million)
What are you saying? Can you count?
One billion has 9 zeros in every country people can count! Maybe only at your home It has 12 zeros
I'm in my 40s, I got 46/50. I thought I would do worse especially in geography and science but it was fine. 😅
The numbering is a bit off - there are 2 questions numbered 12
Thank you. Good quiz
Fun,good quiz❤
I think I will get everything, you guys❤❤❤
Enjoyed it, got 42/50
Good job, Laminator! ❤️👍
Glad you enjoyed the quiz.
Hi this was good....I got many rights. Did not know of my own knowledge
Q7. Anemia does not cause low iron. Low iron causes anemia.
Very enjoying....i did 42/50.....
Good job, Frances! ❤️👍
Thank you for taking the quiz. Glad you enjoyed it.
Great test. Wish I had done better. You sure about Sahara desert vs. polar scape?
Thank you for taking the test! Don't worry, quizzes are all about learning. Regarding the Sahara Desert vs. polar scape question, it's based on the unique characteristics of each environment. The Sahara is known for its arid climate and vast sand dunes, while polar scapes are typically icy and snowy.

sum of angles in a rt angle triangle is 180

I got every answer correct but stopped on 14. More net zero bollox.
In the question 17/50 the correct answer is B.
Potencial Hydrogen is pH.
pH= -log[H+]
Wrong to say Power of Hydrogen.

Some years before Russia was. But after it was broken how did mark correct to Russia?
You are referring to the former Soviet Union, even after the break up, Russia remained the largest country by area.
Look on a globe or world map. Russia has so much land mass; yet, China is the most populated country.
@Lynda, currently, India is the most populated country in the world.
UK is not in European Union anymore.
Correct - but I think it was a very clever trick question. 😀
The Queen can also .move diagonally.
Highlight the selection then post a running correct total
This could have been fun but it just took too long. Cheers!
why are most of the correct answers on D?
Were you supposed to count yourself? How do you get rid of wrong? What's up with that?Though I didn't told you how many you got right or wrong
You need to change how the questions are worded, or a different question. 1) CO2 doesn't cause global warming. 2) Lack of iron in the diet causes anemia.
@Julie, noted! 👍
Great fun way to learn!
Yes, thanks! ❤️👍

PH. = negative log of hydrogen ion concentration
