I am with Gavin, size 13 shoe as well. I got used to walking in the shoe/boot store and just asking what they had in stock in my size. I found Keen made my size as well and went with the wide for a little more toe room in the safety toes (steel or composite.) Great video Bert and Gavin, I almost thought I seen Tony making a run for the creek water and Chris stash of half sticks of gum are in that truck. 😂 Haix makes a great boot and definitely worth the money. 👍🏻👍🏻
I bought a pair of these chainsaw boots and while I can appreciate the purpose they are like wearing ski boots. Ive had them for about a year now and have cut up probably 50-60 cords of wood wearing these and just this fall they've become bearable to wear. They never caused blisters or anything but before they broke in you had to focus on picking up your feet and be careful when walking up logs because they had hardly any flexibility. They are very solid boots and have saved my ankles a few times from rounds rolling down. If you can get past the break in time I think it's a wise investment.
I would think part of the break in equation would not only be the length of time worn but activities while wearing. stand in one place or climbing trees, dragging brush, climbing through the woods uphill, downhill and sidehill10,000 step average day mine felt broken in about a week or two.
Best boots hands down, I wish, I wouldn’t have waited as long as I have. The hip knees and back pain is gone with in hours. Great boots, thanks for the advice Bert.
I have to get a pr. I tried on Sthil’s chainsaw boots on but found them so stiff and not very comfortable. Wish there was a Place in my area that I could try in the Haix boots.
The cutting boots are stiff in the ankle but are comfortable. They will be at the show next weekend in Cambridge Ohio. They do go to a lot of different logging and arborist shows.
Bert,Gavin is a whoot when he is around you 👍😮😊❤
We have fun when we are doing stuff.

I should have gotten a bottle of creek water for Tony while I was there.
Nice boots guys. Bert’s got running shoes for bear hunting or hornets in the loader cab. Gavin is ready for the great electric bike race.

This is my experience as well. Great boots, but like wearing old lead diving boots.
They do give great ankle support

The boots are nice cant wait to wear them more
You'll like them after you wear them more.
Hey Bert
Great choice. Great video too. Perfect back drop.
Thanks for watching
No laces are good Bert😊
Give Gavin time, he may have to sleep with them on😊
I wore mine all day today and like them so far.

Glad your liking them.
Size 13.5 boots. My teenage nephew has pontoon feet right around that size. It's going to be a challenge to find footwear for him.
Hopefully, his feet don't grow much more.
They have some nice boots on the website....like to try a pair on one day. 🔥
Only place I know of is Arbsession in Greenbay carries the cutting boots and the xr200. They usually are at most logging or arborist shows.

Haix are great quality but they are very heavy and stiff as well.

They aren't any heavier than other boots.
👍
Thanks for watching.
