Castle In The Sky will always have the best soundtrack to me. It’s the first Ghibli film I saw growing up, so the soundtrack is just so nostalgic for me. Then again, pretty much every Ghibli soundtrack is so beautiful, so everything else is tied for second to me

Today I'm putting my precious dog to sleep. It's very hard, as he's my childhood dog and I've had him practically my whole childhood. And I would remember I'd watch studio ghibli movies so much and he'd always be right by my side. And I've always been putting on the music from the movies so we could fall asleep together. I swear I don't care if anyone says the animation is old or the audio is low quality, these movies were timeless and will always be absolutely amazing to me, they are some of my favourites of all time

I was getting ready to graduate from my bachelors but a week before graduation I got told I was short a credit. Then my sister unexpectedly passed away and I lost all motivation to finish my degree. Almost two years later, here I am studying for my tests for my last class listening to this on repeat. Thank you for making my transition back to school so soothing. listening to studio ghibli music is so much better than listening to lofi in my opinion. This is my go to playlsit when i need to study especial since i have exams coming up
its the same for me and although i love lofi i think gibli is just so much more familiar and nostalgic it helps me relax and im far more productive too

Crazy to think people all over the world are listening to this playlist feeling comfortable and relaxed. I finished my homework a few assignments I had to do whilst listing to this and for the first time in forever I didn't change the playlist every few minutes:) it's a very calming playlist for studying and relaxing for the mind and soul (at least for me everyone is different:)
As a kid, I had a Casio keyboard, that had preset Chopin 's nocturne. I was once at home with my grandmother and grandfather, having had a day off from school due to injury. While messing around with the keyboard I played the nocturne. It was an overcast day, warm yet breezy. Grandmother cooking lunch in the kitchen, grandfather reading the newspaper in the living room. And, with a very moving piece of the nocturne playing, a strong emotion hit me. It was a realization that that moment will pass, that day will pass, my grandparents will pass on, our house will be gone, I will grow up, my parents will be old and gone... a very bittersweet feeling of loneliness hit me. I get the exact same feeling every time I listen to any Studio ghibli music piece. It is a very comforting, yet sad feeling.
Studio ghibli is phenomenal. The art work is so aesthetically pleasing and talent full. The music is so calming and good vibes. The stories are amazingly written. If my Nana was still here and I showed some of Studio Ghibli’s films to her she would never stop watching! 😂

To everyone who's studying with this music: Checklist: • A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧 • Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋 • Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧 • a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕ • Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨ •Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈 Reminder:After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me. You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. Another recommendation. Put your damn phone on the other side of the room if you're able. Use wireless headphones and let the music be its own alarm. Any kind of productivity can be completed destroyed if you keep checking your phone. It's like, "Oh, I'll just check the time ... Oh wait, Megan messaged. I'll just see what she said. What's this she's talking about? Better google it ..." ... aaaaand you just lost 30 minutes on a google > wikipedia > youtube > ebay > etsy rabbit hole.
Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and The Wind Rises are my MOST favorite ghibli films. Kiki's Delivery Service, The Secret World of Arriety, Howl's Moving Castle, and When Marnie Was There are my favorite films.
i finished all my papers at midnight listening to this and it felt like i was gonna have fantasy stuff happening in the morning, it's unexplainably giving me chills and excitement through the whole night.

I can't put into words how this music makes me feel... It's so beautiful and nostalgic and I'm so emotional right now. I love anime movies and series and especially their music. Every time I'm listening to it it's like I'm in heaven. This is art for me something that has the power to awaken your emotions and let them fill your heart and warm it up.
just the background itself is so nostalgic.. it reminds me of a day at school during recess thinking about how I would have felt if I was a caveman from 20000 years ago still figuring out what the heck is going on. I downloaded this 4 years ago and it's helped me fall asleep in so many places far away from home, and it's always worked, it's so special to me
As a kid, I had a Casio keyboard, that had preset Chopin 's nocturne. I was once at home with my grandmother and grandfather, having had a day off from school due to injury. While messing around with the keyboard I played the nocturne. It was an overcast day, warm yet breezy. Grandmother cooking lunch in the kitchen, grandfather reading the newspaper in the living room. And, with a very moving piece of the nocturne playing, a strong emotion hit me. It was a realization that that moment will pass, that day will pass, my grandparents will pass on, our house will be gone, I will grow up, my parents will be old and gone... a very bittersweet feeling of loneliness hit me.
I get the exact same feeling every time I listen to any Studio ghibli music piece. It is a very comforting, yet sad feeling.
It’s so beautiful that I can hardly focus on studying, I find my mind blissfully drifting with the music every time♥️
Studio ghibli is phenomenal. The art work is so aesthetically pleasing and talent full. The music is so calming and good vibes. The stories are amazingly written. If my Nana was still here and I showed some of Studio Ghibli’s films to her she would never stop watching! 😂

Only thing I hate are all the add breaks, am I the only one with that problem? For me there was an add break almost every five to ten minutes until I got well into the video…

Checklist:
• A bottle of water, at least 1liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧
• Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋
• Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone🎧
• a tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well.☕
• Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone , a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨
•Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈
Reminder:After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me.
You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book.

Another recommendation. Put your damn phone on the other side of the room if you're able. Use wireless headphones and let the music be its own alarm. Any kind of productivity can be completed destroyed if you keep checking your phone. It's like, "Oh, I'll just check the time ... Oh wait, Megan messaged. I'll just see what she said. What's this she's talking about? Better google it ..." ... aaaaand you just lost 30 minutes on a google > wikipedia > youtube > ebay > etsy rabbit hole.

Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and The Wind Rises are my MOST favorite ghibli films. Kiki's Delivery Service, The Secret World of Arriety, Howl's Moving Castle, and When Marnie Was There are my favorite films.
