It's the same pickguard. I just replace the old open humbuckers with Seymour Duncan JB at the bridge and Artec at the neck. It reduced the noise when I accidentally hit the pickups with my pick quite a lot. It sounds warmer too. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for watching. Yes, I sealed the cardboard with resin. The downside is that it makes the cardboard edge quite sharp. I had to put a piece of cloth between my arm and the guitar body while playing it. 🙂
