I think the universe is telling me to get my licence and buy this plane. My dad had one in the 80s. So I decide to look this plane up on flight radar, and its last flight was into Fayetteville, (FAY). My surname? Fay. 😮😅

I almost bought a 400 series Cessna a few years ago, and I am now considering it again … This video was an EXCEPTIONAL Tool for me in understanding the 14’s/21 and what would bet fit my Mission/Budget/etc! Thank you for sharing, and although I was primarily shopping the 414A’s ….this pretty much seals the decision for me that the 414A is the exact right model for me!!! Thank you!

Twin Cessnas are some of the most beautiful twins ever produced. My hat is off to you and your husband for doing such an excellent job on this bird. She deserved it. Your reviews are always good, but this one was your best. I suggest the next plane like this you do you film all the work that you are doing to it. This plane would have produced over 30 hours of video. Video many of your viewers would love to see. I would love to see you guys doing a 310R or a 421CW.

The 414A definitely has the easiest fuel system of the twin Cessnas. If you’re looking for a multi engine trainer, the pressurized, cabin class 414A may be a bit of a leap; the 300 series Cessnas are a bit more in reach. And you can always upgrade again later. Thanks for commenting and watching.

Considering all the facts it made the most sense to buy 414A. There are some very important details most people don't consider. An example: 10 gallons more fuel burn on 421C will cost $50,000 extra just fuel alone in 1000 hours. King Air would cost a few times more. Please feel free to contact us directly through our company; glad to help any way we can.

When doing in-flight videos you might consider an introduction by starting with the pre-planning; where are you going from and to; business or pleasure; flight plan planning; weather forecast; alternates if required; IFR or VFR; preflight briefing for passengers and pilots; inflight video; approach planning and landing; post-flight de-brief.

Nice review. I've owned a 1975 C414 and now have a 1980 C414A and love it. Mostly due to the gear, and it's a little quieter with the engines being a bit further out. I still feel as if I'm missing doing things while flying due to the simple fuel system, my other one had 6 tanks and required fuel management...easy,, but ya had to do it. Very stable platform and I find my RAM IV equipped bird likes it in FL200 to FL230 are for best performance (wind dependent of course) and distance flown. I do a lot of 1 to 1.5 hour flights so 190 to 200 is where I end up most of the time. Love these old birds, expensive to maintain of course but a very capable all around plane. Totally agree with cold weather starts, hate to do that but we don't have the tanis heaters but it's hangered 99% of the time.

@@caiolinnertel8777 It's been an excellent airplane. Range was the primary consideration and I fly Long Beach to Chicago nonstop in both directions frequently. I started off looking at the Piper Cheyenne 400LS, which is 40 knots faster, has even longer legs, and a service ceiling of flight level 410. Truly an awesome airplane. But there were only 48 or so ever manufactured so I was extremely concerned about service and parts availability. There weren't a ton of C441s manufactured, but there were 350 or so, so I was more confident about service and parts. Even at that, I've run into issues. Still, I'm satisfied that I'm getting what I paid for in the airplane.

Upgrading from this one is not as easy; when considering the operational cost and what is gained, twin turboprops do not make much sense, PC12 is the most logical choice but much higher acquisition cost. I am kind of stuck for now.
