There's no alternative way truly. Peer pressure is hard to handle, mostly because it tends to outcast someone. But that should not bother you. This story was really a serious topic to cover and indeed it was nicely presented. I'm in my upper teen years too but actually I never want to try any type of alcohol 🙂 I know people like it but I always think like ewww 😅 It also causes health problems but still it depends on every individual.. I still remember during our tuition picnic in standard 10, most of my friends tried beer for the first time. And also for the first time they did smoking. They offered me, but I refused. But none of my friends called me looser 🤧, coz they knew it's my choice whether I'll try it or not. Fun fact is that at that time we were also 15😁. Now I'm a BSc final year student, and I'm 20. But still I have not tried any kinda of alcohol 😇, and it doesn't matter to me if anyone think that I'm a looser😎... Finally broke up with him😶.

Here's my story-
I have moved to a new city few months ago. I'm 16 and when I joined my new school I saw many kids who were in these kinda things. I went through bullying each day and when I asked them why they're doing this, they said "because you're a normie. We won't do this if you obey us and be cool like us" after that they offered me a cigarette. Initially i was hesitating alot but because I needed their validation, I agreed. It was the most horrible experience of my life. I fell sick for several days and after that day my life became hell. They insisted me to do several other wrong things and I became depressed to the point I thought death was the only escape.
My grades started falling down and my body was becoming weak. Soon, my parents found out about all this and I changed schools.
Although here in this school, nothing like that happens, but the trauma those days gave me, still haunt me to death.
I wish I never said "yes" that day.
