Investigators provide a comprehensive overview of how they caught Steve Wright, the infamous serial killer who ended the lives of five women in Suffolk.
As a child after watching an evening Norwich city football match with my Dad, we made out way back though the crumbling industrial part of Norwich, we came across a pub called the Ferry Boat Inn. I remember a chubby surly middle aged man pouring me a coca cola from a supermarket 2 litre bottle and by doing so he didn't pay the full tax. I remember thinking that's illegal. This was in the late 80s/early 90s and I recently made the connection the man was Steve Wright, he was landlord of the Ferry Boat Inn at that time which sits in the heart of the Red light district of Norwich.
If i was the reporter interviewing that girl i would have gave her or lent her the money so she did not have to go out. Would not be able to live with myself if i did not.
And the rest of the girls out that night? Would you have brought heroin for ALL of them? And the next night, and the next...? Remember, she was not killed the same night, your drug-buying gesture would have made NO difference anyway, not unless you are suggesting you'd have purchased all the heroin for all the hookers in the area, indefinitely. Plus, serial killers kill hookers because it's easier. If you removed all the hookers from harm's way - he'd only have gone and killed some other woman instead. Maybe - and I know this is radical - blame the serial killer for being murdery, and not reporters for not buying hard drugs for strangers?
Every one of the victims was a very beautiful woman, and sadly, it was their addictions that trapped them, keeping them vulnerable to this predator. When will reporters stop calling them prostitutes and refer to them correctly as women or better, victims? Go ahead and say what their profession was, but they were women. 😡(so tired of the line 'this is when the hard work begins. No you just don't let up)
All these girls were people and none deserved what happened to them. They each had family and loved one's. This evil monster had no rights to take their lives and would be better if he lost his live for what he did. The team working on this did a great job catching this guy. If he wasn't caught when he was I'd say more girls would of lost their lives to him. RIP sweet angels. You will all be missed dearly.
Street girls or not, they are just as important as any other person and did not deserve to die at someone else's hands
They put themselves at higher risk being out at night alone.
🥱
@@laurastuart3814Thanks Captain obvious!
I lived outside ipswich at the time. The level of fear in that small town was palpable.

“The police have arrested the killer of five prostitutes.” Aggravating that they weren’t described as women.

She was a drug addict...even if they gave her money she still would of went out
She would still have gone out.
She would of brought smack with the money
@GG-ch1hm Would HAVE not "would of".
