They also dump all the water onto the sill plate, which is then held in by the door seal and rots the floor and rocker panel. If you live with snow, you know. Not that I keep them long enough to experience this. Since 2016, I've had a set of Husky Liners for 3 Tundras. Funny too, I have factory floor mats brand new for all 3. Two of which are Limited TRD, so 2 sets are both rubber and carpet. The Husky Liners will hold a lot of water before spilling, and the ridges keep it from sloshing around.

Thanks to this review video, I just ordered a set for my 23 1794. I love the ones that came with it, but not ideal for muddy boots. I thought for the price, why not have a set for when I know I’m going to be dealing with snow or mud.

The factory option doesn't cover nearly as well as it could. By contrast, the OE GM floor liners cover absolutely every inch of carpet for $50 more than the Toyota option.

I’ve purchased WeatherTech mats a few years ago and despised them. They showed everything. I was cleaning them every time I was in and out of the vehicle. These look like the same material and a footprint already can be seen on your back mat. I like my OEM Toyota/ Lexus mats and will not have anything else. They look nice all of the time.

Bro these things are too much money now. A tundra or Tacoma lose like 12 percent of value over 5 years..which is like 10k. That's why I lease. Now they're like put down 5000 and pay 800 a month. Ummm that is like 20,000 by the end of the lease! These dealers are nuts. I don't want to hear their abstract numbers. You pay on the depreciation. Don't tell me when the lease is up that they're going to re sell the vehicle for 20,000 less than originally priced because they won't. It'll be jacked right back up.

I have a ‘22 1794 with the 1794 mats. Nice but like you said the coverage is not ideal.
Bought Weather Tech mats for my wife’s ‘13 Highlander Limited years ago. I was not impressed with them. The mats are far too ridged and to this day have not relaxed enough to fit nicely.
I prefer a mat that remains flexible but is form fitting.
Fortunately the weather in NW VA has been mild this year so we had next to no snow. This will give me time to try a few options before we get slammed next season.
