Watching Titanic and now the Britannic walk throughs I never knew there was such beautiful and splendid woodwork throughout both ships, absolutely breathtaking. Such a terrible loss when these both of these ships went down so soon after being constructed. The lost of life and the financial loss was horrific.
For the Britannic it was merely a drop in the ocean as far as "loss of life" and "financial loss" was concerned at the time. World War One was in full swing. 10 million dead in that war. As for sunk ships, 344 Central Power submarines (mostly German) sunk some 6000 allied ships 1914-1918. And how many lives perished on all those ships? 1193 alone died when the Lusitania was torpedoed in 1915 and that's just one ship. The Royal Navy alone registered 45,00 perished while serving on British ships exclusively. American sources claim 9200 dead serving on American ships in 1917-1918. I can't find any info about how many French, Italian, Russian and British Commonwealh/Empire sailors perished during WWI. Probably lots. Terrible loss of life? Only 30 died when the Britannic sank. She was *empty* of patients but was on her way to carry injured soldiers back to Britain. As it were the only ones on board were nurses, doctors and crew members. Most of them survived. 100,000+ sailors perished on ships during WWI. 10 *million* died in the war itself on all sides. 30 perished on the Britannic. Like I said, a drop in the ocean as far as lost lives during this horrible conflict. Financial loss? Imperial Germany, Austria-Hungary, the Ottoman Empire and Imperial Russia collapsed economically and went under. The British and French Empires were nearly broke from the economic cost of the war. This is btw why the Versailles Treaty was so harsh.
Nah, Britannic is the best accomodation wise. Nearly all of her first class cabins above C deck had private bathrooms. That would be INSANE for the time.
@@ATWTMVTVFTVSGAVRALPS Titanic had a *HUGE* amount of upgrades following feedback from Olympic’s voyages. there were massive differences in the interior layouts and designs, as well as additional comforts and amenities that would be too numerous to describe here. Britannic was, however, the most different of the three, as you correctly state.
I hope that perhaps once Project 401 or THG is complete, the team will perhaps do the Olympic and Britannic. They don’t need to do a sinking for Britannic.
imo, this is the single best potential ocean liner. the tiles, the organ, the suites, the additional amenities and rooms. it all comes together so nicely. looks like it would’ve been very enjoyable to sail on. 👍
Titanic: Honor and Glory, Question. You will one day release a video of the Olympic and the Britannic during the First World War, there still isn't much material from both during the War, I wanted to see what the interior of the Olympic looked like during that period.
I tried this game again, 9 months later, and was so disappointed to se absolutely no updates to it since I last tried it. I do hope the devs at least update the interiors once Project 401 goes live on Steam. The lack of explorable interiors was rather irksome. I did find the sinking sequence to be interesting. Was actually able to board a lifeboat, and actually re-boarded the ship once che bow was close enough to the water. At least we are able to explore most of the topside of the ship.
It's the same development team, this was another project they were working on. The game is called Britannic: Patroness of the Mediterranean and it's available on Steam.

To me, Olympic was a tinge underdone, Britannic was a tinge overdone, and Titanic was sheer perfection
Olympic was a tinge underdone, Britannic was a tinge overdone, and Titanic was a tinge underwater.
@@DerpyPossum lol if that's the case then Britannic is a tinge underwater, too!

Why is titanic better when she literally looks similar to Olympic. Only Britannic is different

Beautiful britannic may she and her passengers rest in peace never forgotten and always ❤. 😢😢😢😢😢
This is spectacular. Such a beautiful ship.. I love the music on the video too!
impresive now i would like how Brittanic was really fit
I uploaded that video too! Look up the hmhs version.
people are saying they prefer Titanic but are we gonna ignore the fact that Britannic had a full blown pipe organ? get it full blown? XD
Lol
Great!
Not as magnificent as the Titanic, but still very magnificent!
arguably *more* magnificent, actually l
Yeah, they had to reduce her beauty so as to make her more safe.
The exteriors looks boxy but the interiors are designed to be better than Titanic or Olympic
It would be nice to see a tour in the reciprocating engines room and the turbine room as well:-)
El Britannic Se parece mucho al Titanic

@RMS_Titanic_1912-WhiteStarLine thank you! Hope you enjoyed it!
Question, Did the Britannic ever got a chance to be fitted with her interiors?
From the way it sounds they were working on it when she got pulled into the war effort.
I do know the organ now resides in a museum in Seewen, Switzerland.
31:00 unless your Jack and Fabrizio lol
And Rose
31:21 - O Sol nascendo a bordo do navio Britannic.
I only knew about the Titanic simulation. How many other ships can we visit?
Just Titanic and Britannic, at the moment. Though their former creative director is currently working on a Lusitania game.

I wont be able to answer your question. Im just a fan of the game, sorry.
That pipe organ is for the birds it would drive me crazy

I still enjoy it, especially on those days where I just want to de-stress.
What game is this? Why is there more to explore on this ship than the Titanic from the Honour & Glory team? Is it the same developers?
It's the same development team, this was another project they were working on. The game is called Britannic: Patroness of the Mediterranean and it's available on Steam.
They have a new demo called "Titanic demo 401" it has more spaces than this and you can explore all classes
Music of the first sing please?
Pomp and Circumstance, March No.4
12:07. О, это бассейн выглядит красивее чем на "Titanic".
Ух ты, тут можно полностью погрузиться в воду. Круто!
Not to be that guy, but why does the caption say 1919 when Britannic sank in 1916?
An error lol
@@bowlingfan33 Gotcha lol ❤️❤️
The passageways look way too narrow
😱😁😁👌🏻👌🏻Wich demo game is this? Is very similar Titanic Honor and Glory. Is amazing the Olimpic Class🤩🤩
This game is called britannic: patroness of the Mediterranean and its available on steam.
I don't see any links to download this game from. Thanks for sharing this.
Look up britannic: patroness of the mediterranean on steam. Its usually $20.
@@bowlingfan33 Thanks. Found it.
Navio Britannic em 29/08/1915.
TBH, except for the swimming pool area, I like interior of the Titanic better!
The music could be better not very good
The music is art, wtf with your comment
