- hello guys just a quick udate on my ever growing English civil war project. these are some great figures from Avanpost miniatures, which i picked up from mezzers minis. a real pleasure to paint and i highly recoment picking some up.
also a quick update on my iron sides picked up from Bicorne miniatures. previously painted in only contrast paints however i have decided to go down a new road of using them.
also sorry for the spelling mistake on the thumb nail

Love the regiment and their tray and the cannon too. I think the resin barrel looks good and you saved a bit of cash for more minis.

Hi Miller very nice mate they paint up well , I wouldn't worry to much about coat colours from what I have read most regiments ended u wearing whatever they could get their hands on , like Newcastle's regiment supposed to be white but a lot wore red so mixing them up a bit sort of helps with getting them close to what each regiment had at the time, I know that our regiment wore green with black turnbacks and we had all sorts of colours .
