just so yall know "dance ver." and "dance practices" are not usually the same thing. "dance ver." means that it is the dance version of the mv. so still really high production as you see here. "dance practices" are literally were in the practice room at our company doing the choreography one shot type videos. hope that was helpful! love yalls videos!!
yes the mic stands were customly made for them for performance used, but MinHo broke it hahaha and luckily the others found out and helped him to cover up that even the cameraman didn't really notice it

SHINEE! I yell about them in about every shinee video you all do, but they’re really worth all the praise! Some other ones to defiantly check out are married to the music, taems solo songs and more jonghyun!! Fun fact for Dream Girl: at one of their live performances one mic stand broke in the middle of the choreo, the base fell off and the mic stand could not stand anymore. They handled it so professionally, that I didn't even get it until someone pointed it out in the comments, then I needed slowed down version to capture their amazing team work, they never stopped dancing while doing it, just incredible and shows how much these guys work for their performances.
American choreographer Tony Testa did the choreography for this song. He's also worked doing choreo on a few other SHINee songs like "Sherlock", "Everybody" & "Married To The Music". Tony Testa has done choreo for Janet Jackson & Britney Spears, and he was also assistant choreographer for what would have been Michael Jackson's "This Is It" tour, if it had happened, but then MJ passed away. Taemin's dancing has a lot of MJ influence in it, so for SHINee to have worked with someone connected to the Jacksons, I'm sure that must've been huge for them.
The mic stands choreography was done at each live performance !! also funny how Bang Bang Boomerang mentioned mops because there is a dance version done by managers from their company *literally using mops* hahaha 🤣 There is so so much you need to check by them I don't even know what to recommend haha, guess I'll just enjoy whatever I got lol, more SHINee please 🤗🤗
Shinee are just pure class. I can't call myself a stan because I don't really FOLLOW them, but every time I watch a MV I enjoy the hell out of it. If you haven't watched any Shinhwa yet you should go for it! They have their 21st anniversary this year and they've released basically an album a year except for military service. I recommend their MV for Throw My Fist (I think it's a 2002 release?) and their 2015 release Sniper.

SHINee has some of the BEST b-sides in the industry!!! Like a fire, queen of New York, Graze, in my room, Quasimodo, romantic, jojo, please don’t go, Orgel, and an encore. All are either super funky or beautiful ballads! There are videos from live performances of all songs!

YAY!!! I love this song so much and this is my favourite "performance version" of a SHINee tune. What's great is that they did this mic stand choreo live on the music shows. It's not a dance practice but a dance only version (or performance version) of the MV and SM does this with a lot of their artists. My favourites are the performance versions of NCT U's The 7th Sense (THE BEST and it's the completely choreo focused) and Super Junior's Devil (nothing elaborate. Just so fun). If you guys ever start doing actual dance practices then SEVENTEEN is AMAZING. Hands down best dance group in kpop (synchronised, quirky, clever and self-choreographed).

This wasn't a dance practice video it was a dance or performance version MV. There is a difference. Sometimes when a song has great choreography like this one they release 2 MVs. One that is a story based MV where you only get to see parts of the choreography because its interspersed with the story of the MV and the other MV where it just focuses on the dancing and the song. The regular MV and the performance version MV are both official MVs. SHINee are amazing dancers so they often have a dance version and a regular story version of their MVs. For example, there is a story-based MV for "Married to the Music" and their is a performance version MV of "Married to the Music. For their song "Sherlock" there is also a performance version MV and a story version MV, etc. There also are separate "dance practice" videos for these songs as well. All of SHINee's choreography for their songs is iconic. They are some of the best dancers and performers in the industry. You should see them perform "Dream Girl" live.

There are some really iconic fancams from this era of SHINee where a member's stand would break and seamlessly another member would hand their's off. In lives its almost impossible to see because they cover so well.
FUN FACT: One of their first live performances of this song, the bottom of the mic stand broke but no one really noticed until the end because SHINee moved the pieces to the side without missing the beat and made it seem like it was part of the choreo. It was really cool.
