I've been writing down the atmospheric pressure, temperature and what kind of weather was on every day for the past couple months, what can I do with this info?
Plot it. If you recorded the data by your own instruments, compare how they go with actual meteorological measurements. You can find your error margin. That'll be pretty cool.
This video does NOT show HOW a forecast is made! I was expecting some kind of discussion of what weather parameters are looked at, how it's decided whether there's enough moisture, enough instability, and enough heat, etc. to generate severe weather. I also expected a discussion of what weather models are used. In other words, HOW a forecast is made.
