Aww I actually liked the wallpaper pattern (just not all over the walls, maybe just on one wall 🤣 ) The room is super cute, and I love the wood paneling on the wardrobe!
If you haven't already done that, it might be smart to stick those under-the-furniture felt stickers on the back of the headboard to prevent scratching the wall
Been following you for a while now, but with such a small space like this, I must say you did a great job. My best feature is how the wardrobe turned out ❤ Much love to you
I'm with SuJin on the rug issue. Don't understand why you have a rug that is almost completely covered up by the bed! Maybe a bit of it, but so many bedrooms on YT seem to have the majority of the rug under the bed where it is not even seen. Just my opinion. 😊Love the makeover; it looks fabulous! The wardrobe was a great transformation. ♥♥♥
Couple of reasons. Practically, many carpets under the bed extend past both sides of the bed and the front as well. When you walk around you don't need slippers to have cushion under your feet. Also if you live in an older home, your wood floors may squeak and a carpet can dull that noise when you first get up. Aesthetically, especially in countries where rooms are bigger, it divides the space into a specific "area". The sleep area, the sitting area, and the dressing area, for example.
Wow Hermione ! You are so talented in doing your room make overs . I also liked the make over on the wardrobe . You so should go a stay with your friend for a week and do a make over in her new place and vist your nan when you finish at her place while you are back here. Hope you nan is keeping well .
This is perfect and I like the rug placement. In small rooms like this when the bed is against a wall, how do you make the bed so that sheets are tucked in and the comforter or duvet slide down between the wall and bed?
@@lizharley5723 you either pull the bed out a bit to do that or, depending on the bed width, just tuck the sheets down while either leaning across or kneeling on it.
So creative and resourceful. When you upcycled the shelving for the headboard it made me think of Elf when he turns the bookshelf into a rocking horse. 😂 except yours is prettier!😊
The suitcase designer is in Korea and she does decluttering and organization videos.... You all could totally collab and do a decluttering organization and makeover of someone's living space. It would be magical 💛💛💛
Yes, I was thinking the same thing! You should totally collab with @TheSuitcaseDesigner. April is from America but living in Seoul. You two would have so much in common!
I feel like the bed should been on the wall where the cabinet was at and the cabinet be where the bed is the desk on the other side of the room so not near the bed while you sleep. Since don't want really be next to a window when you sleep
Beautiful job Girls! ❤ the room looks so wonderful!! ✨️ the bed by the window looks lovely and especially the wardrobe turned out gorgeous✨️ So nice you could do it together 💪😊 you're two supergirls!🎉❤ I also just love your dog!! 🥰😍 looks so cute ! ❤ could you please tell my what kind of a dog you have: what kind of breed? 🙂 i have never seen it before here in Europe... thank you so much in advance! 🤗🙏🤍🐶
I don't think it's a big deal really about not removing the wallpaper a lot of people in the UK anyway will just paint over wallpaper if it's sound and in a decent condition
I also like to line the rug up with the furniture. What's the point of having most of the rug under the bed? Hermione, you look a bit under the weather, not your normal self. Hope everything is ok.
You just painted over wallpaper and never made any mention of why you did that. Is it because you couldn’t take it off? Did you have to prepare it to keep it from bubbling? What?WHAT?? This is a pretty serious omission.
Sometimes it's just easier to just paint over wallpaper than strip it off. I've done it lots of times and didn't have to do any special prep other than a good dust down. No problems with bubbling or anything.
In many places wallpaper is put directly on the wall with no primer underneath. The wallboard would actually come off when removing the paper. My relatives from England thought my mum was odd for removing wallpaper so maybe a difference in what's the usual for that area. 🤷♀️
You can paint over the wallpaper. In the Uk in older houses you might even put lining paper up first and then paint. So she wouldn’t have mentioned it because it’s a normal thing to do here.
Thank you for this makeover. The wardrobe and headboard and spacious layout with calm colors works. Stay well and enjoy.

I would left one wall wallpaper where bed would be at painted the rest.

The space turned out so beautifully!

Hermione you make such brilliant use of preexisting items. Congrats on another great makeover!
The room looks so nice and pulled together. The neutral color pallet is very soothing.
The wardrobe looks good. I hope the door hinges can take the extra weight of the panelling.
I love how the room came out, so simple but so beautiful. I also prefer the rugs lined up with the furniture not under it
What a lovely transformation! Well done, you two 🎉
I love the headboard idea and I love the way you unified all of the furniture. Keep going you have wonderful idea.
Great job, ladies!
The wardrobe is beautiful🤩

Amazing transformation, and everything done in a small room too!

I love it! So bright and warm

So beautiful and serene. The headboard and armoire turned out to have a gorgeous custom look. Wonderful job ladies. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎵
Agree with Sujin on the rug . It makes mopping easier.
Everything looks great Hermione. my favorite DIY was the wardrobe.❤
That armoire update 😍 definitely hope to borrow that idea in the future.
Absolutely love the wardrobe face lift!!!

Oh I love it and so did Su jin Hermione doing what she does best yay x
I love your make overs!!
Very calming. I didn’t know you could paint over wallpaper. I assume it is wallpaper.
I agree with SuJin on the rug. But I bet Alexandra Gater would agree with you. 😂 Nice makeover ladies! 🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
You 2 did an amazing job❤

You should fix the audio 😅 the quality is bit bad
You legit look like a doll i had growing up..i meant this as a compliment. She too had blue eyes..also this the 5th time i am watching this video 😊
So nice 👍👍👍
Please , where did you get the wood that you used for the furniture???so interested to find out...please....great job.
Where did the panels for the wardrobe come from? I really want them. X
I love ittttt❤❤❤❤
Whats the name of these wood roll thing? I cannot find something like this online.
Was the paneling that you put on the wardrobe raw? Or painted?
I don't think it's a big deal really about not removing the wallpaper a lot of people in the UK anyway will just paint over wallpaper if it's sound and in a decent condition
That was very muted, calm wallpaper…
Team Hermione-Rugs should go under furniture.
Are you staying in corea for long?
Painting over wallpaper is not the best idea. Better to strip it off first.
Rugs go under the furniture.
Why do people always put beds right up against the window???
I agree - it must be difficult to make the bed and close the curtains.
방안에 쌀포대가 왜저렇게많은거지? 쌀집딸래미인가..
Rug under furniture

That’s what I thought!!!
