Hi, i just want to say thank you! I found you 2 weeks ago and you got me doing so much! Its been a rough year and half for my family with my husband getting covid and then getting and illness (doctors say it was caused by covid) and that made me get out of track with the house. I can tell you that in the past 2 weeks I declutter so much (8 big black bin bags of all sort of stuff), I cleaned place I didn't clean since I moved 2 and half years ago. It's been one of those successful days for me too. I've deep cleaned my bathroom and I'm working on the kitchen right now. And when I feel like my energy is starting to dip, I take a break and watch a cleaning video and this was the perfect one to pick because even though I dont have kids, its so relatable. Decluttering is one of my favorite ways of making my home so much easier to maintain, especially when the kids were young. They accumulated toys so fast, and tiny things were popular when they were young, micro machines with my son and Polly Pockets with my daughter! 😳🙄 it seemed like thet had hundreds, and it was a task to keep up with! I have come to realize though my husband accumulates as much stuff as they ever did!😂 Much love have a wonderful weekend!

I love the way you show the mess of real life. I love your videos. My children are grown and out on their own now..but life was like this for me as well at one time-the never ending cycle of cleaning and decluttering only for human tornadoes to mess it all up again🤣. I remember getting so frustrated at times because i felt like all i did was clean (i actually enjoy cleaning now-its therapeutic). If you ever feel frustrated just remember it will not always be “messy”. One day they will grow and move to the next chapter in their lives and you will find yourself looking around and missing the “mess”-that proof that they are there and in constant need of you. Enjoy it all no matter what. Im an empty nester now and it has been a big adjustment. Bless you and your family. Keep it real girl.

It looks GREAT! I desperately need to go through my 5 year old’s toys! There are little pieces EVERYWHERE and just so much junk. Have to do a pre-Christmas purge to make room for the new 🤦🏻♀️ but while he is at school so he will never know the difference lol.

Your sweet! I have a trick to the "lost sock collection"! I started doing this yrs ago! Everytime one of my kids would throw there socks & shoes by the door...I would take the socks fold the top together & put them in the hamper! On laundry day...just unfold them & toss them in...if they go into the same washing cycle...then, they will come out of dryer all matching! Have a great day, Jamie!

Omg I totally need to do this as I’m preparing to move.
I need so much help declutter my room. Problem is its a craft room,my room,kitten room, & doesn't help that I am disabled & some days I can hardley get out of bed. I need a declutter in my room, so I feel like a normal person. Feel very overwhelmed at times. I noticed my kids help clean more when they were little. Now that there older, do I have to clean. We live in a townhome. We I think we need to declutter. Just having a hard time knowing where to start. It is nice to have your husband do team work. Wish we had washer& dryer because with deep cleaning, & with all the laudary with about 20 loads including are bedding & sheets& comforters. U make it look so easy to do all this! Great coupon& codes. I have a carpet cleaner too. I need to find the floors& not kill my back. As I had surgery on my back which makes it harder to clean. I did start to declutter my closet in my room first. I decided to throw away what was not able to donate. I usually like to donate to shelters that people need clothes,used good toys to donate. It is cool how u can have all the toys downstairs. I like to give my friends things I no longer want. The bathrooms are always mess do to boys & the bathrooms are half organized. I cannot do half the stuff u did in the video but was nice to see u cleaning, deep cleaning is so inportant. Less stuff,less things probably make it easier. Wow I am inpressed & it is an awsome job. I am trying to declutter first. My adult son does help with cooking,and cleaning downstairs. I enjoyed watching the video. You have done a lot of hard work. So u are moving 🤔 is that why deep cleaning. I wish I had a craft room, always need more stroge I agree. I love the baskets that they have at dollar tree& dollar general. U just wanted to get done when u can. Sleep is very inportant, I struggle with that. I like how u put noodles in containers. I dont drink much caffeine. I do not do well with out my sleep to. I like the energy bars too. Just take awhile for me to get things done. Any suggestions how might get crafting& in my room& also in my room. Sucks not having a washer & dryers. Those mattresses do sound amazing...they really thought of everything with it! We are the same way...hesitant to use other products other than those made for upright carpet machines bc we are too afraid it will mess it up! Our basement toilet does the same thing ! You really did declutter so much. ..absolutely will make a difference when the kids play down there.

About the basement toilet bowl, if you just pour white vinegar in there, and even add baking soda to that, and leave it. That should take care of the problem. Big plus is those are both safe around your kids and pets 👍🏽

Have an issue with a closet in my kitchen which I want it to be a pantry but I got the idea to use I as a cleaning closet which is how I am using it now, but needs organization, so far I am able to use my cabinets as pantry and it is working for all. I think I will use the closet as a cleaning storage for vacuums / cleaning products too 😃

Thank you for being you and being real! I do get the exact same thing without enough sleep. Had two very busy weekends, a week with longer work hours and appointments (buying a new to build house as well as weddingplanning) and a lot less sleep than I would need so I am absolutely exhausted right now. Still need to do so much, but I will just do what I can and then rest so that I can enjoy wedding dress shopping tomorrow! Have a nice weekend!

I just wanted to say that I have been loving your videos. I discovered your channel the other day while looking for some cleaning motivation. I have battled depression all my life and my cleaning habits have suffered from it. I've developed hoarder tendencies and my housework and junk piles up, then it gets overwhelmed just looking at it and makes me lose all my motivation. Also I'm obese so daily activities are hard on my body such as bending and kneeling which is needed for cleaning. Your videos gave me so much motivation. I have decluttered and organized my kitchen cupboards and tidied up my downstairs. I'm also 23 weeks pregnant, so that adds to the difficulty, but I still got er done. I have a lot more work to do as I have my whole house to declutter, organize, clean and rearrange furniture to fit my xmas tree, but at least I'm getting started. I want to have a clean house for my baby when she arrives, and I want to start taking pride in my house and not be embarrassed when ppl come over unannounced. Thank you for posting and giving me much needed motivation/ inspiration ❤️
You are doing amazing already!! Just focus on doing a little bit at a time!! I totally know how you want things to be done for when your baby arrives, remember that feeling!, But it’s a marathon, not a sprint. Yay…you got the toy declutter done! I’m glad you had a productive day. I’ve been going non stop the last couple of weeks redoing my bathroom and also painting my hallway and stairway and all the trim. Today…I did not feel guilty relaxing after getting a few things done this morning😜

Decluttering the playroom must have been quite the task! It looks great! I notice I have this energy that I get like 3 days before my T.O.M , and I'm grateful for it because on those days I just like to do the bare minimum.
Like even this week I had it in me to rake the leaves with my kids . I have 3 and the small ones are younger than 3 years of age but I had their tiny hands help it was therapeutic to see all the colors of the leaves and just hearing that crunchy leaf sound lol. Back to square one though because it looks like I did nothing 🙃 wind has been stripping those trees!
I love seeing pretty leaves on the ground! Although they aren’t fun to clean up!
Love your videos also your honesty and real life struggles, my babies have grown and most have flown the nest but i remember all the toys as if it were yesterday, enjoy them while they are little Jamie they grow so fast xx
